So my boss is completely neurotic! I'm scared to even say where I work for fear that she will somehow find this thread and kill me.:Shifty: She switches from liking me to hating mid conversation and obviously just likes giving snitty side comments to everyone and not just me because I'm young she does it to people older than her. One of the first things she said to me was to not touch the walls.... ever.:| And half the time my work is just doing chores for her gah! It's frustrating but I get money get paid (Just like Chi city) so it's not that bad.

But anyway what are your bosses like? Neurotic? Crazy? Cruel? Or do you have a nice and kind boss? Or are you the boss yourself and would you say your a good one?:) Discuss

My bosses here (supervisor, dept head, account super) are all brilliant people, so I love working here. Hell my dept head goes to our parties and dances up a storm I'm like *wat* then I'm like whoa.

I could never have a boss I didn't respect. I demand that everybody I associate with are smarter and more successful than me (which is not difficult to do) simply because I don't believe in true equality, and that means people are either worse or better than me.

Would you socialise with people worse than you? Would you listen to such people? Nope - thanks for agreeing!

My current boss is really nice and cool with me. I've had nightmare bosses in the past though.

I've had bosses that are bad enough for me to actually call them a mouthful of abuse to their face when I'm on my final day. I've also had bosses what have needed me to take them to an internal tribunal to get fair treatment which is saying something since I had to risk my career to save my career due to managerial bullying.

My current managers, Lloyd and Michelle are awesome, seriously the very best managers I have ever worked for and I worked for my exgirlfriend when we were together. I would love to change the store I'm working at for another store more local but hell I'd have to leave working with these two and well, I'd rather live in central london than do that :D

There was once we couldn't stand our boss anymore and we decided to form a party to take him down. But the healer back off last minute and the tanker couldn't tank :bou::bou::bou::bou:z. We were defeated and he...he....we were never the same after that night. :kaocry2:

The boss that I see on a regular basis (my "team leader" as they call her) is really awesome. She's friendly, playful, really fun to work with, and close enough to my age that she can relate better.

The next up boss (the head of the supermarket area of the store) is also nice and friendly, and so far two of the four store managers (the women) are super nice. The two men I've met? They're not horribly mean but I've heard stories.

I've had a lot of jobs, so I've had a lot of bosses. It's pretty half and half with the good/badness, too.

Right now, my boss for my tutoring/academic support job is very nice. Sometimes, when I have no appointments, she'll come in and talk to me about her grandkids, which is kind of annoying but I don't mind it, and she's very friendly the entire while.

My boss at the deli is very nice to everyone's face, but is actually sort of a steely bitch once you turn around. After three years of working there, I've witnessed this enough times - her just humoring everyone. This doesn't actually make me dislike her at all, but it's very annoying when there's an actual problem in the workplace.

My current boss is pretty great, and I've had no problems with him. I've only had one bad experience with any sort of boss, but that was just one incident with the idiot owner (while my actual bosses that I worked with were great for the four summers I worked there).

We recently got a new boss, and she is actually very nice. I liked our old boss a lot, but this new miss Thing seems like a genuinely nice person, which is a rare thing.

Don't you work in a grocery store? I've heard lots of horror stories. Are your co-workers bitter, broken shells of their former, broken, bitter shells?

My boss is great, she gets on with everyone and really looks out for us. She also has a sense of humour which is great, although I have seen what she can be like when she is pissed off and that's quite scary, but understandable 'cause she can't really just be all soft :jess: My deputy boss is great too, although can be a bit moody sometimes, but she's pregnant at the moment and is leaving soon which we're not sure whether is a good thing or not :p
