So, I've gotten comments from people telling me I look different in person. Oddly enough I look the same if I'm on video. It's weird. It's like it has to be moving for me to look like myself. Do any of you guys get comments from people telling you look different from how you look in pictures?

I'm not fat enough to cover it up with angled photos of myself

Certain people who have never met me but have seen photos seem to think I am blonde. Can you believe that, Shiny? Can you believe how utterly blind and delirious people can be?

EDIT: Incidentally, this is exactly the shade of coloring of Paulotic's hair.

Not really, Shinay~

Edit: other than that my hair looks alot darker in pictures than it really is.

I'm not very photogenic, so I personally don't think my photos look much like me, but I always recognize myself in videos. But I don't really discuss my photos with people a lot! So I'm not sure what others think.

Also, that cropped photo is so true. :greenie:

I look about the same.

People are usually shocked when they hear my voice though because they expect it to be burly and manly or something.

I look awkward and creepy in every picture I take.

I'm not as awkward and creepy in real life though? I don't think so at least. Maybe I am. I don't know :(

You don't sound exactly as I expected but it wasn't that far off.

Well yeah, the complete stillness of a photograph isn't natural, and people don't usually look like themselves completely. I am the complete and total opposite of photogenic, I look abjectly hideous in all pictures.

It all depends on the skillz of the photographer and how elite your camera is. Let's take a look at the two pictures below.

Normal Photographer

The first picture one is a picture of me taken by a skilled photographer with a 1337 camera and the second picture is an original picture of me taken by a regular camera and photographer.

See how much a difference it makes? Although I think I look so much hotter with my original look in the second picture though

I always seem to look more tired in pictures, I also seem to look slightly more fleshy in pictures. Seriously take that grease photo I posted, that was taken recently. I look like I'm still quite tubby even though I've shed 5 kilos recently, I know I am interested in losing 5 - 10 more but I'm actually well within the acceptable weight range for my height now.

I haven't heard any comments regarding any differences for me or really thought about this. I haven't noticed any significant differences in my appearance in pictures, though.

I pretty much look the same, regardlessly of how you're viewing me. ~

Nobody's ever said anything to me about it but I know I look tons better in person. Especially my eyes. I always look like I'm half-asleep in photos.

maybe you have very individualistic body movements, shiny. Since these cannot be captured in stills, people familiar with them feel that there's something missing from photos of you

Nice NOSEPASS, but the next time those should be actual pics of you. :colbert:

You sound exactly how I imagined.
