Raw onion is awesome but you do need to have a good mouthwash, mint or chewing gum for after lol nothing worse than onion breath save for garlic breath lol

I voted gross, but I wouldn't want to use that word; I don't like them raw, but it's not really gross. It can be good in some foods, but rarely. So yeah, not gross, but not delicious/good, so I rarely ever eat raw onions. ^__~

Raw onions are nothing but tears bombs!! I had experiences cutting them and my tears flooded the whole kitchen! :(

Ok, that wasn't a good example.

I like the taste bay leaves put in spaghetti, but you can't eat them directly cuz they cut you up inside. Eating an onion like an apple isn't QUITE that bad, but if you don't cut it all the juice stays inside and makes it about three times as strong.
