Does taxidermy creep you out? Are people who have taxidermy for a hobby invariably serial killers? Are you a taxidermist? (you freak)

I think it's gross and weird outside of a museum setting.

Except bones. Bones are cool.

I'm not creeped out at all by taxidermy, unless it's being performed on humans.

I'm not creeped out by it. It seems cute. Where's the serial killer thing come from?

Been thinking of possibly becoming a taxidermist. I think it's neat.

I have a room in our house my mother and I refer to the den of doom. My dad has so many elk and deer and antelope and an audad and whatever else he hunts on the walls. He keeps them as trophies. "Look what I killed!" silly dad and his hunting. He doesn't have anything that doesn't have horns on it though. So no birds, hogs or fish. So I'm not bothered by it so much but I do find the people who do it to be very odd. I find my father odd for wanting dead things everywhere but whatever.

I think taxidermy is wonderful. It's like grandma never even died.

Anyone played the DLC to Heavy Rain called The Taxidermist? if you didn't already find taxidermy creepy, you definitely will after you have played that.

Yes, it's creepy. Let the dead rest in peace, not stuff it as a trophy. ughh.

Having grown up in the country, I am sick of taxidermy, and venison, and hunting gear in general.

I used to be fascinated by the animals as a child in museums... then I realized people just did it as a hobby and it freaked me out - I thought someone was going to get my hamster ; ;

Seeing as how EoFF seems to be mostly against taxidermy, I think this means it can only be a good thing.

I saw a stuffed dodo once, it was one of the best experiences of my life.

When I die, I'm going to get my corpse Taxidermied and placed at the entrance to Disney Land.

They can't deny final wishes, right?
