Which violent game is this?

I remember a friend of mine used to show me some very fun and very violent computer game (from the later 90s I think).
In the beginning of the game you were outside and there were hens running around here and there that you could shoot, and if you went to the leftmost part there was a house you could destroy and you could get a saw blade or something.
I think the cover of the game had two muscular guys posing with guns, and I also think the game's name was in two words.

It was an FPS, and it was a computer game (in other words, not a console game).
I don't remember very much, but it was a lot like Doom I think, but outside. :p

I recall a late 90's FPS that involved Sawblades called Chasm: The Rift. I don't know if it had chickens in it, I only played that in multiplayer back in high school.

Blood was a very violent '90s Doom-like FPS. Might not be what you're thinking but it comes to mind.

I know I gave pretty vague descriptions, but I guess nobody can blame me since it was at least 12 years since I last tried it, and that was only a few minutes a few times at a friend's house. :p
I really wanted to find the game again and had no choice but to use descriptions of what I still remembered, since not even the friend seemed to remember a thing.
