There have been two TV Shows called "Lost" neither of which I've seen. Is the second just a remake of the first?

No; the earlier show was a reality TV show of some kind, and only lasted for like five episodes or something. The second was a drama... thing that got six full seasons.

The first Lost was a reality show in which pairs of people were dropped off at a random point in the world and the show was a race from that point to the Statue of Liberty. Fascinating concept, except that the place they picked was Mongolia. Mongolia.

As reality shows go, that actually sounds interesting, though it probably wouldnt be very hard nowadays what with fancy iphones and all.

Last night I was looking through my old posts (since there's only like 50 of them in the last two years) and opened up this thread. Then I saw literally five minutes later you had posted in it. Is there a "threads currently being viewed" list somewhere that it popped up in?
