Dragon Age 1.05 patch freezing my PS3

Problem time:

I pop Dragon Age: Origins into my PS3 and it informs me I need to download the latest patch in order to play. I've looked it up, and the patch just adds some new trophies for DLC, etc.

Anyway, when I say 'OK' to the download, my PS3 beeps, the screen goes black, and it's not until 5 minutes later that the whole system restarts without having downloaded anything.

Anyone else run into this problem? If so, how do you fix it? I literally cannot even play the game.

Actually, yes. I completely forgot about this thread. I resolved it the same night by deleting my DAO game data (NOT the save data) and re-installing it. I also had to re-download the DLC that I previously had. Otherwise my actual saves couldn't load.
