Many of you probably aren't familiar with the Bone series or rat creatures, so I'll explain before stating the thread topic:

They're basically huge furry, vicious, carnivorous mammals. Also, well, that's basically all there is to them. Besides the ones in my sig, I'll post a few more pictures of them so answering the thread topic's question will be easier.

Anyways, the thread topic. I think they hardly resemble rats. Though at the same time, I don't really know what animal they resemble the most. I'd say they're a really weird mix of rabbit, monkey, and devil.

So what real life animal would you say rat creatures resemble the most?

I read Bone with a middle school book club. They loved it! I liked it too. I thought the rat creatures were adorable. We had a conversation once about whether those things on their head were ears or horns -- sometimes they move weird in the book.

I think they move around way too much to be horns.

Haha, that's the same page the kids cited!

Top half looks like a bulked up sloth (with horns/long ears I guess), bottom half looks like a bilby/wallaby/etc.

Send me my prize in the mail.
