When you join a "Forum" you post right? When you post you can see the lists of views on your topic, same with youtube blah blah blah...ANYWAYS.
I find it highly annoying where people just click read click read click... Whats the point of reading a topic if you're not even going to comment on it?

Do you have an opinion or something to say everytime someone speaks ?

I save annoyance for things that actually matter.

People like me, who simply cannot remain silent on any subject which interests or annoys or engages them to even the mildest degree, are often annoying to others, or condemned as Angry Internet Mans.

Can't win really :shobon:

Sometimes I read a thread and end up with nothing to say that hasn't been repeated a bunch of times. That's boring. And sometimes I read a thread and realize that anything I have to add would take more time and effort to type than I'm willing to give it. And sometimes I read a thread and think everyone in it is so stupid that there's no point in arguing with them.

I seriously relate with this.

Topics are not always worth discussing; this can be decided upon reading a thread and digesting its content. There are times when it is worth offering others something to read, but a great often silence is the best response we may supply.

"Community" is an idea I struggle with daily.

I don't respond when people are taking the topic way tooseriously. It's boring to respond to that. It's also boring to say the same thing that's been said umpteen times before. Also sometimes when reading a thread I get bored and wonder off for awhile and when I get back I have no idea what I was doing.

Reading the same post fifty times from fifty different people is annoying, too, by the way. I don't want to contribute to that.

It's pretty annoying if people have already made your points and your post can't really add anything and just repeats what's already on the screen.

I also don't like to post when all I have are sentiments that have previously been expressed pretty succinctly multiple times already.

Uh, don't go to the Final Fantasy IV forum, there are no human remains there.

Sometimes a thread looks interesting, and then after clicking it turns out to be the opposite of interesting.

I usually won't post in a thread if I just have something normal/boring to say. Sometimes if I'm feeling nice I will post anyway. This is one of those times. :)

I've viewed this thread five times before, but this is the first time I've decided to comment.

Mainly because I don't get why it annoys you.

For some reason, this reminds me of this other beef some people have with me. I don't find it necessary that if I'm spending all day in the vicinity of a few people to say hello to them every time we run into each other.

Ahaha, oh man, I'm the same way. My college was a small campus, so I'd continually see the same people. If we had just seen each other and talked, why do we just need to say "Hi, bye!" again? I don't think this actually irritated anyone, though, or at least I never heard of it.

Why wouldn't you say Hi to someone more that once?

I'd say hi more than once - but not five times -- or six, or seven, or eight... I have people who say hi to me every time they freakin' see me in the course of two hours.

I was thinking of doing something like this, but I was afraid it would just be seen as me spamming. :(

I have two things to say

1. are you DD?
2. you are very annoying, and you just talked your way out of an invite to my birthday party.

The reason you dont comment is because you have nothing to say or someone said it, or people will become convinced your DD.

Usually my opinion on a topic is wrong/not wanted so I just be silent ^_^

I also don't like repeating what other people have said which is ironic because I'm doing that right now. Sort of. Ya know.
