I don't remember him not having gray hair. I thought he was just one of those people who grayed earlier and aged late. He never seemed older than fifty. Very funny guy. I loved him in Naked Gun series, and of course, Airplane. AND Dracula: Dead and Loving it. I even loved him in Scary Movie (4?) when he flashed he pale flabby rump. RIP <3

Maybe I was a bit harsh earlier! However, he got way past the average life expectency of his generation, and we all die sooner or later, so I just didn't see the relevance of the exaggerated negativity and despair in the thread's title.
