Hey All,
Nintendo Australia is holding a video competition where you have to post your favourite Mario moment.
It's worth checking out, and voting for my video here (http://gamesites.nintendo.com.au/mario-25th-anniversary/#/gallery) :D
Anyways, after 25 years of Mario, what would you say your favourite Mario moment is?
You can see mine here (http://gamesites.nintendo.com.au/mario-25th-anniversary/#/gallery), it looks like this:

Did I say you should probably vote for it?

I see you trying to talk about Mario, but in GC to try and get more views. Tsk.
Try being more shameless next time. I voted for you anyway.
My favorite Mario moment was when I put an invincibility on him in Nintendo Monopoly 'cause I totally won.

The fact that it's general gaming didn't occur to me, despite it being quite obvious, my bad :erm:
Thank you though.

Pretty much all of them from Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.

It's a hard one for me. There are so many good Mario games. Though I think I recall the one that gave me the most excitement was Super Mario RPG. I was so excited and involved with it because it was something different. I think it was the first RPG I was exposed to. I didn't really have much of a chance to play it, I don't think. I remember my older brother playing it most of the time and me watching.

Long car journeys with Super Mario Land 2 at hand was pretty sweet. Still my favourite Mario game.
That new one, New Mario Bros Wii or whatever, is pretty good. I have fun playing that with mates.

My thoughts exactly.
Well, to phrase my favourite Mario moment in my own words, being able to play classic sidescrolling Mario multiplayer in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Or, if you want me to get very specific when it comes to memories:
(playing World 7-6 with my three younger brothers)
Eldest Brother not counting me: No! I lost Yoshi! (Yoshi flies away on a Para Beetle) Well, at least he's going to a better place.
(5 seconds after Yoshi disappears from the top of the screen, he falls down)
Middle-Younger Brother: They didn't accept him.
(We all start laughing afterwards)
Imo, the best Mario moment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MusQqQVvuFQ).

Playing a round of Mario Kart (the original) with my brothers, and going through shortcuts in some of the tracks! :d

I remember one time I was playing Mario Kart 64 with a friend and we were apparently so evenly matched that for a full lap I was looking at his half of the screen thinking it was mine. Apparently his actions were exactly the same as my button presses. :P

Most fun moment is definitely the amounts of 4 player madness New Super Mario Bros Wii has given me the last year. Everything is better when it's shared!
Most magical Mario moment, I don't know. There are so many quality Mario games that I just don't know. Super Mario Bros 3 and World always leaves me with a weird feeling, they're games I played with a bunch of people that I've lost contact with or where my relationship to them has really changed, so it's just weird to think about really. Definitely had lost of great moments with those two games. The sun in the desert world still makes me cream my pants, and not in the front of the pants. In the back. :( Same with that stupid fish in world 3. I'm pretty sure I cried a few times, what a horrible way to go.
Super Mario 64 is beyond awesome in itself, such an open and free game. Downright magical. Same with Super Mario RPG, although it's a game I don't have the power of nostalgia attached to, I played it when I was quite old. I'd totally fall in love with that game as a kid, though. Still, a great game, but I can't really point at any specific moments.
I seriously admire then for still being able to crank out great games, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was just plain awesome. Gotta love Mario.

One time my brother and I played Super Mario Bros. 3 straight through with no warps and no breaks. It took about 6 hours and afterward we still heard the sound effects from the game even though it was turned off.

That's what gaming should be about!
