New Jack would save New Jack every time Nature Bhoy. Nature Bhoy seem to be the only townie able to defend his self, 14 time world champ indeed!

I really hope electric Rocky man isn't a cop because there is nothing that gets New Jacks goat more then a dumb ass! Why would a cop roleclaim Day 2 its beyond me? I mean nothing didn't see him as in danger until he said that? Just doesn't adds up. Scum is afoot y'all!

I'd rather not have The Rock die today thanks to a WIFOM argument. Prepare to taste the torture of the ANKLE LOCK.

New Jack can't get a beat on y'all Olympic Yo-Yo? I mean it seems to the Original Gangsta the only reason y'all contributes is to beat the silent mafia idea. But then again, can't be hating on a playa for play the game ya know

Okay, it's in order of least posts to most posts.

Buff Bagwell:
Buff Bagwell;2935097']Hey all, sorry I've been so inactive, I'm always terrible like this...
Everyone is probably asleep/waking up, so I miss out on discussion, but I promise I'll try to make some posts at work. Give me some questions and I'll respond when I can.

As for my thoughts on what seems odd, these things have struck chords with me.

The Hardy Boyz;2934940']I don't think it's really important what the Jihadist role was, seeing as it's been thrown out so early in the game. Though I am curious.

The Hardy Boyz;2934942']We'll have to wait until we can do a body count on Night 3 to determine whether or not it was a killing role.

These two posts by The Hardy Boyz seemed like discussion snuffers to me. I know that everyone always says that looking into the meaning of roles is scummy distractions, but discussion is discussion. The more ideas and posts people share, the more we can try to pick up on them, regardless of how useful someone might deem their contribution. I'm a great example, I've barely posted, so no one knows what to think of me, I'm a threat by that very fact and I'm doing what I can to make up for it.

Ok, that rambled on a bit longer than I meant, but overall The Hardy Boyz actions there aren't extremely scummy and they did elaborate upon what they said later on, but subtle things like this are what stand out to me...

The other thing that stood out to me was The Rock's comment a just a few posts bacl...

The Rock;2935057']The Rock says that he voted for Hogan because he believed that Hogan was scum, but apparently he ended up a Miller, did he not? Now Bret, let's say that you had investigation powers. Would you agree that if you had investigated Hogan the night before and he turned up scum, would you do what it takes to get rid of this scum? The Rock was just doing his duty in getting rid of this "scum", but apparently, the Hulkster has turned out to be a Miller only proving that nothing is what they seem to be. The Rock knows this because The Rock has seen it with his own eyes, so shut your mouth and know your role, if you know what The Rock is cookin'!

As much as I don't want to point out the obvious attempt at a role claim here, there's a role claim here, is there not? Why would you make a claim like that regardless of what role you have? Explain?

Personally I think there might be a connection between the fact that Hogan was a miller and had "I am mafia scum!" painted across his profile.

That's all I have for now, but as I said before, I'll do everything I can to post more frequently!

Here is his only real post, and it seems fairly smart. It seems like he is smart and reasonable, and I think the reason he's not here is because he just doesn't have time, not because he is laying low. I do want him to post more often, however, but he's not on my list of suspects.

Max Mini: Hasn't really said anything at all. He voted for Ric Flair and Kurt Angle with absolutely no discussion added and no reasoning at all. He's either laying very low, or he is just an inactive.

Triple H: Is inactive and hasn't said much. The only thing he's done is asked Ric is he would change his vote if he voted, doesn't really mean anything now, but it doesn't seem scummy to me at all.

Kurt Angle: Arrived late, but has made some very smart posts. I'm not sure if I only find him smart because I agree with everything he's said so far, but he seems to be a very good player, and is making strong points.

Rikishi's Ass: He really hasn't said anything of merit yet. He's just been joking around so far, I think.

The Undertaker:
The Undertaker;2935171']This is the rest of my thoughts on people.

Kurt Angle – Another person who seems to be into their character, again perhaps a little bit too much. He’s made a few posts, but I don’t feel that he added much to the discussion with his first few posts today. His comments to Bret about Canada or whatever seemed unnecessary and served no purpose in the game. He also said he understands Warrior. Maybe because they’re scum buddies? I find him to be fairly suspicious, but it’s still early days so maybe I just need time to adjust to his role playing.

Also, I can’t believe I skimmed right over The Rock’s role claim. I find that highly suspicious, especially when he said that he didn’t need to explain it. It just seems too early to have a serious role claim like that. At the same time though, it makes me think he might be town. Claiming an investigative role so early in the game is unlike mafia behaviour, as I’d think they’d wait until they were under heavy fire to attempt something like that. I’m quite unsure of where to place him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was scum, trying to scare the town out of voting for him.

Not much else here, but that's because I don't really find anyone else that suspicious to be honest.

I’m going to go with my gut instinct though, and that tells me that The Rock is a scum.

##Vote: The Rock

The Undertaker;2935183']
Kurt Angle;2935174']Is that what you honestly believe Undertaker? The Rock must be mafia because he roleclaim day 2 with no suspicion on him? Because that's a good mafia strategy :roll2. Sounds like you've had too many days with the coffins.

Whoops, sorry, my finger slipped and I hit post quick reply by accident. Anyway.

I said it was my gut instinct. And I never said he had to be Mafia because he roleclaimed Day 2 with no suspicion on him. In fact, I think I said the opposite. I said it would be strange for a mafia to roleclaim when they had very little suspicion. His role claim was suspicious in itself as there was no need for it, regardless of if he was town or scum. I made my reasoning and I'm sticking to it unless The Rock can convince me otherwise.

Aha! Contradicting himself! He votes for The Rock, and says later that he doesn't believe that the Rock is mafia, but is voting for him anyway. I think he might be scum, and he is trying to get rid of a possible cop

Stone Cold: I really liked how, when talking about and voting for me, he completely forgot to mention that I also talked about Ric Flair, and instead focused on what I said about Big Show, then said that I jumped on the first thing I saw. Stone Cold really hasn't said much, but he tries to make it seem like he is one of the top contributors. I definitely don't like the way he's playing, but I don't have any evidence on him. My suspicions are pretty much just a gut feeling.

The Ultimate Warrior: Makes long and good posts, but is too much in his character. I've seen this many times, and it's almost always a townie, but that doesn't clear Warrior at all, because he could be trying to play to this, so I don't really have a read on him except that he seems to make good posts.

*sigh* I unfortunately had to leave for a little bit, so I couldn't finish this. If you keep me alive, I guess I'll finish it tomorrow.

The Ultimate WARRIOR does not think the Rock is feeding the gooey veins of evil, Hoak Hogan, and is true to his self and his beliefs, the beliefs of the Ultimate WARRIOR. The Ultimate WARRIOR does not care if Jerichogan or Nature Hogan gets trashed in the ring of justice, but will not change his target.

And to all the Hulkimaniacs out there, I was send from a capsule far from here, and I came here for one reason, Ho Kogan, to take, and to keep coming. Not to ask, but just to give, Hoak Hogan. Umm... I did what people asked and gave my suspicions on others? If you all still care, my list is now this...

Ric Flair: He was very wishy-washy all day every day. By never committing to anyone, it makes him seem less suspicious, common scum tactic.

Undertaker: For what I said in my post. He is voting for a possible cop, and even said he's probably not scum, but still voted for him.

Big Show: For what I already said. I know he said it's just a joke, but I can't let it go, because it's entirely possible that there was another motive.

Back in the Locker rooms, the WWEoff's Olympic Hero was not in the best of moods. He paced around mumbling to himself, only pausing to pour himself another shot of the hard stuff (full fat milk) and throw it down his neck. The cause of poor Kurt's ill mood? None other than the King of Kings himself, HHH.

"I'm a man of integrity!" Kurt insisted to no one in particular, "A man of intelligence! And damn sure a man of intensity! How dare he treat me like that?!"

Throwing his glass aside and drinking straight from the carton, Angle continued to rant to himself. His grievance with the Game this evening had begun during their match earlier in the evening, where HHH had taken a few liberties with his offence and been hitting too hard for Kurt's liking. In particular, a hard low blow from the cerebral assassin was still reverberating through the Oylimpian's "gold medals", much to his disdain.

"So what if I've forced myself on his wife in the past? He's a terrible husband, oh it's true! And he can't still be sore about those sledgehammer shots, that's his gimmick! I'm an American hero and he can not treat me that way! I'm going to give him a piece of my mind, it's true, it's DAMN true!"

After draining the last of his milk for courage, Kurt stormed out of his dressing room and marched over to Hunter's room, fully intent on giving him what for. The other superstars, who could easily sense the rage emanating from the gold medalist as he stormed in to confront the game quickly scattered away from the vicinity lest they get caught up in the carnage. Unfortunately, no one ventured near the room again until they heard Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's screaming, after she'd walked into her husbands room to find both him and Kurt lifeless. Even though Earl Hebner took it as slow as possible, neither man got to their feet before a ten count, or ever again for that matter.

Kurt Angle was a Governor played by Goldenboko.
Triple H was a Beloved Princess played by Sir Lancelot. Thanks for playing guys!

After the worst imprompteau Last Man Standing match in history, WWEoff put on a tribute show to honour their Beloved Princess HHH. Unfortunately, this took all of Day 3 to put together, so we go straight into the night phase. Night actions, if you please.

What else do killers do at night? No deaths make me pleased and worried. Pleased because the doc pulled off his job, but worried because I thought there were two killers. I don't see how else Triple HHH and Kurt Angle could have been offed.

First off, to Jack. I didn't accuse you of mafia. No one likes being unfairly lynched and I worried. I couldn't argue because that's for others to decide. By looking at my posts, votes, and behavior, I'm sure I'm cool but I expressed a dislike of being a villain. That's not flinging the same empty accusations back. Putting words in my mouth is very disappointing from a guy I found trustworthy.

The Rock is bonkers. I cannot see how anything else fits. Hogan had all the signs of scapegoat written on him, and The Rock is the guy who put the last nail in that coffin. "He came up guilty because he was miller" is a simple cover after the fact. Who else have you investigated, jabroni? Claims are hard to back up, but more so when you have no legs to stand upon. I think you're lying.

More thoughts later.

That's all you have to say, Hardyz? Especially after you made this post on Day 2:

The Hardy Boyz;2934942']We'll have to wait until we can do a body count on Night 3 to determine whether or not it was a killing role.
So now we have 2 bodies on Night 2 yet zero on Night 3. You don't care to comment on that at all?

Also care to share the reason you're voting for me? A whole lot of :bou::bou::bou::bou: has gone down since the last time you voted. Slapping on a vote and moving on is doing a disservice to the town. I mean, there's tons of reasons to vote for me. It shouldn't be hard for you to pick some.

Flair, you're tipping either way right now. With you on the chopping block, it was easy to see why you saved yourself and voted for someone else. Interesting you voted for Jericho though. The guy turned out town and your other option was The Rock. Now I can see why you would hold out on The Rock for two reasons. The first is that you are scum and he is scum and you had to protect him. Everyone likes easy answers. But the other is so you could confirm Rocky's innocence come night. Both Jericho and The Rock were suspects and it was a one-or-the-other situation, but The Rock claimed cop or at least an investigator. Worth keeping around if it could be verified or backed up. But if you could not do that, I wonder why you would trust a claim so many others easily disbelieved?

[M] Kurt - Cool Dad
12-17-2010, 08:02 PM
Yeah I thought for sure two killing roles after a BP and Governor died in the same night. Couldn't be any other way, but two doctors making the right choices seems a little far fetched. Or it could just be one doctor and they all targeted the same person. Or it could be one of them decided not to make a kill to spread confusion (like TK did in mindsmurf mafia). Though that's a pretty risky gambit.

[M] Adama

I thought the jihadist issue was put to rest with Eddie, but the double kill makes me think it's coming back to haunt us like a cult or a cell (because if we're being a little xenophobic we may as well call it what a "jihadist" would belong to). I know it's a little crazy so I didn't speak up about it immediately, but since this is now on the table again.

2 Deaths Night 2 suggests that there is scum amongst scum with the power to kill alone! New Jack especially dislikes scum with this kinda power.

But New Jack has a better theory, a member of town is a vigilante & said vigilante is responsible for one of the 2 deaths. New Jack has pretty heavy suspicions as too who this vigilante, I'd say 85%.

Change of Hart, New Jack is not trying to put words in y'alls mouth! Y'all said suspicion be on New Jack if Change Of Hart goes swinging from the gallows, which to New Jack is a passive aggressive threat ya know! If y'all saw me as trustworthy why say such things. Even though Change of Hart casting doubt over New Jack today New Jack doesn't think Change of Hart is scum.

Hardly Boys need to start giving more of y'all opinions rather than just constantly saying Nature Bhoy is scum & voting on Nature Bhoy without proper reason y'all. New Jack explained why New Jack suspected Nature Bhoy earlier in the game. Hardly Boys just seemed to agree with New Jack assertions & vote Nature Bhoy, originally because "its Day 1 & I've no real reason" but it's Day 4 y'all gotta over more than that now if y'all gonna help town.

I didn't 'trust' the claim (but I didn't mistrust it), nor did I have any way to verify it myself. My choice was based on history. Most of the time when people make these vague claims they get voted out and then their claim turns out to be true. I've seen it happen many times. People are quick to vote out claimers, especially in the early days. Since I know this, I figure the scum know too and wouldn't make that gambit. Since if it is a lie, it is now a lie he has to keep up with for the rest of the game. As days go by it should become increasingly obvious that he is lying. I figured it was worth another day of discussion at least. So I went with Jericho, who I didn't really think was scum but I didn't know for certain.

That was a mistake though. A true Townie wouldn't vote for someone he didn't suspect just to save himself. It's not what Psychotic would have done. He would have pulled some last minute gambit and turned the tides. I failed to live up to His standards in His game. I'll try to make up for it today, which may be my last hurrah.

Right now I feel these people need to be scrutinized the most. They have been skating under the radar and posting just enough to do so:
Rikishi
The Undertaker
Stone Cold

These guys I can't get much of a read on. Sometimes I find what they say helpful and insightful, but mafia can do those things too. They've been active though so the more they post the better read I will get:
Bret Hart
The Rock

These two have been pretty much nonexistent. You can't really analyze their posts because they have too few posts. So they need to post more:
Buff Bagwell
Max Mini

For the record, I am pretty certain these guys aren't scum:
New Jack
Big Show
The Hardy BoyZ (though their failure to elaborate on stuff is undoing this)

And I don't know what the smurf to think about The Warrior. He's so into his character that it's hard to read his post for anything other than entertainment.

As for Ric Flair, well, he's obviously mafia. :D

^^ OMG that's not a joke it's a mistake! Mafia for totes!

So what could have happened last night? Here are some possibilities:

- Both killing factions targeted the same person who was protected by a doctor. Do doctors only negate one kill or do they protect someone for the whole night?

- Both killing factions targeted someone who is bulletproof.

- The second killer simply decided not to kill anyone. He could be a pro-town killer like a vigilante.

- The second killer has a limit on the number of people he can kill.

- The second killer was role blocked. If so, perhaps today would be a good time for whoever blocked them to come forward with who they blocked last night.

And some things I think we can assume:

- The second killer did not run out of time to get his night action in. It has been less than 24 hours.

- The second killer is probably independent from the Mafia. (Not a Mafia Serial Killer.)

Yeah any of those could work. I'm going to go on the assumption of two killers because I can't think of any other way Angle and HHH would have died at the same time.

A vig is a possibility. As I mentioned any of Big Show's scenarios is possible. It's odd that you are so sure you know who it is, though. How do you know that person is a pro-town vig and not the evil kind (Serial Killer)? Psychotic loves the SK role after all.

If there is a Vig then they are doing a poor job of it. :p

Is it really important? There could be two mafia factions or mafia and a serial killer (but all is scum there as far as we're concerned) or we could have a bad vigilante. Two kills is all we know. As for the lack of kills, is it so surprising that we could have doctors or there could be roles capable of blocking out there? It's not really a big deal. We just gotta keep an eye on the time, and let our protective roles worry about the kills. We only have control over the lynch right now. "There could be" this or "what if that" is all just fluff discussion for scum to hide in. MR. FLAIR.

We can debate possible killer setups all day, but I'd like to get to the people I think are scum. First some general observations. There are two (or maybe three) main differences between scum and town. Here they are:

1. Scum know who are on their team and who aren't. Town don't. To scum, anyone who's not on their team who dies is fine with them. A dead town is a dead town. Even though he's gone now (and this doesn't help me, I know), I figured Angle for town after Day 2 because of his vote switch to Jericho. If he was mafia, he wouldn't really care who between us dies. 2. Scum plan for the future. They aren't going to say anything that may come back to bite them, at least they will try not to. Town, most of the time, live in the moment. So be weary of anyone who doesn't put it all on the line every day.

(3.) Mafia's number 1 priority during the day is self-preservation. Town also do this, yeah, but they also have the focus of finding mafia. It's a subtle difference but it's something to keep in mind.

Ok here is what I think about Rikishi, which is basically a copy paste of my earlier argument since he hasn't posted since then:

Ric Flair;2935180']And for the record, here's Rikishi and Stone Cold's reactions to it:

Rikishi's Ass;2934953"]
Stone Cold;2934952']That being said, Big Show's post got me thinking... why should mafia have hit Warrior last night? Because you find him annoying or for something else?

My ass cheek sense is tingling! Big Show probably wants us to see him as innocent!

Big Show: "I would've killed Warrior if I was scum."

Town: "Oh well Warrior is alive, guess Big Show isn't scum."

Big Show: :mwahaha:

To me, Show's comment was an obvious joke, and anyone with a brain would be able to know a mafia wouldn't make such bluderous strategy decision. As I've said before, I think the Show is a true town and also new at this game, so he's just trying to make sense of it all. The wool could be over my eyes but that's what I believe for now!

So the comment itself wasn't that telling, but the reaction to it was. Mafia love to find little blunders like this from the town to use as ammo for their phony assaults. Stone Cold's reaction was meh, but Rikishi's was a little more interesting. Planting a seed for the town to grasp on to? Maybe. Here's another interesting post from Rikishi where he tries to appear helpful:

Rikishi's Ass;2934950"]
The Hardy Boyz;2934940']I don't think it's really important what the Jihadist role was, seeing as it's been thrown out so early in the game. Though I am curious.

Not important? Of course not. The role doesn't give any insight into what else might be out there. Why did we even mention it? :monster:

Nice italics! While it doesn't behoove the town to talk all day about possible night kill scenarios and dead roles, I think that's obvious to most of us. So pointing out something we all believe could be a great way to get in good with us!
Rikishi's votes were:
Day 1 - The Hardy Boyz (was the only vote on Hardyz)
Day 2 - Bret Hart

[M] Kurt - Cool Dad
12-17-2010, 09:27 PM
The Hardy Boyz;2935867']Is it really important? There could be two mafia factions or mafia and a serial killer (but all is scum there as far as we're concerned) or we could have a bad vigilante. Two kills is all we know. As for the lack of kills, is it so surprising that we could have doctors or there could be roles capable of blocking out there? It's not really a big deal. We just gotta keep an eye on the time, and let our protective roles worry about the kills. We only have control over the lynch right now. "There could be" this or "what if that" is all just fluff discussion for scum to hide in. MR. FLAIR.
Oh come off it. If I wanted to hide I wouldn't even be posting. It's a little too late for me to try to get in the town's good graces with fluff discussion. Speculating on what the hell is going on and what the roles are is one of the fun things to do in this game. Besides, Jack and Show are doing it too. :p

You still haven't said why you are voting for me. Or was that it?

Ok here's my thoughts on The Undertaker. And this will probably be it for now because digging through this stuff is a time sink. I think Jericho was on to something about Undertaker in one of his final posts:

Chris Jericho;2935231']The Undertaker:
The Undertaker;2935171']Also, I can’t believe I skimmed right over The Rock’s role claim.

Holy crap, getting through this will be a challenge.

New Jack;2935837']Change of Hart, New Jack is not trying to put words in y'alls mouth! Y'all said suspicion be on New Jack if Change Of Hart goes swinging from the gallows, which to New Jack is a passive aggressive threat ya know! If y'all saw me as trustworthy why say such things. Even though Change of Hart casting doubt over New Jack today New Jack doesn't think Change of Hart is scum.A man's entitled to be pissed at a guy who kills him is all. Glad we cleared that up for now.

The Hardy Boyz are good at sharing hardly any information. What they do harp on are hypothetical details of things which do not really matter. I believe I've said it before and saying it again cannot underline how much I agree with others that not talking is hurting the Hardy Boyz's good name.

Ric Flair;2935838']I didn't 'trust' the claim (but I didn't mistrust it), nor did I have any way to verify it myself. So I went with Jericho, who I didn't really think was scum but I didn't know for certain.I agree your voting on Jericho was a poor decision, but that's behind us. You do now know your other choice is ringing false with his only replies of "SHUT UP AND TRUST ME" instead of answering with a list of people he has investigated or at least pretending to confirm the role he now claims was only just a hint. I say he went in half-cocked and didn't realize he had to fire. I think The Rock is already cracking.

Ric Flair;2935844']Right now I feel these people need to be scrutinized the most. They have been skating under the radar and posting just enough to do so:
Rikishi
The Undertaker
Stone Cold

The hard part about that is these guys are so quiet. We can keep imploring them to be more active, but will they respond? This could be an instance where pressure needs to be applied. How about we lean on these guys? Just enough votes to draw the quietest out to talk? Rikishi isn't too shy, but what about The Undertaker or Stone Cold?

Ric Flair;2935844']These guys I can't get much of a read on. Sometimes I find what they say helpful and insightful, but mafia can do those things too. They've been active though so the more they post the better read I will get:
Bret Hart
The RockI've already given my talk about The Rock. Me, you'll have to do that on your own.

Ric Flair;2935844']These two have been pretty much nonexistent. You can't really analyze their posts because they have too few posts. So they need to post more:
Buff Bagwell
Max MiniI am seconding this. Buffy, Maxy, post more. You have to. Are you with us or are you against us? Only mafia scum won't lend a hand.

Ric Flair;2935844']For the record, I am pretty certain these guys aren't scum:
New Jack
Big Show
The Hardy BoyZ (though their failure to elaborate on stuff is undoing this)I for one disagree about the Boyz. They insert chaff in discussion and then bandwagon votes. I haven't heard many details from them about anything, not even that book they keep bringing up.

New Jack and to some extent Big Show are keepers because of how vocal and outgoing they have been. I don't think any of theirs or our suspicions have gotten us anything yet, but their contributions will eventually sink them if they are scum and save us if they are town.

Ric Flair;2935844']And I don't know what the smurf to think about The Warrior. He's so into his character that it's hard to read his post for anything other than entertainment. In my book, Ultimate Warrior may as well not be posting. I hear rants and lots of pictures and warrior talk, but I am unsure what to take seriously. All I know is he hates Hulk, but hadn't heard the news since he keeps calling all of us Hogan.

Ric Flair;2935844']As for Ric Flair, well, he's obviously mafia. :D
You are still a schizo, baby. I think you do good, and I'll be more likely to change that view once we deal with Rocky. I'm still not sure you didn't save the jabroni out of desperation or what back there. Jericho was at least trying to do some comprehensive posts, while all The Rock does is tell us to can it.

New Jack my brotherman I can dig that but my aim is still on that there Hart dude. You said discussion is good, yeah, and I can feel that too, but mafia discussion is bad, it detracts from the town, misleads them!

If I'm right and Harty is a scumbag then at least we don't have to worry about him and his role no more. One at a time is my motto. I only got one ass, gotta sit on the fuckers one at a time.

The Hardy Boyz;2935944']WAIT

I do have something to say about my thoughts: This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecb5-uAvFhM) song reminds me of The Warrior.Absolutely useless. See, this is why we can't be friends.

Rikishi's Ass;2935957"]Ricky Flair aw man you so funny. That was as much a throwaway comment as Mr BIG SHOW's was, but of course you can only see one tier jokes! Watch Inception, we always gotta go deeper. Deeper into mah ass :smug:So it was all a feint that you got strung out by it? Sensitive booty indeed.

Rikishi's Ass;2935957"]Whatever our friend The Rock's deal is, he's probably not :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty mafia that has such a weak roleclaim so early. Paranoid cop was mentioned earlier. Could be it, don't really care at this point ANYWAYS.Is that your out? Accepting he might be a crap paranoid cop who cannot name a few suspects he investigated? "Everyone's been guilty" is a shoddy answer.

Rikishi's Ass;2935957"]lalala what next. Oh yah, I got it now, don't worry peeps. Erm MR Ricky Flair there, well I don't like him. Dunno why brahs but my ass is tingly and it ain't in a good way. I do like how he was all discussing how he had to vote Jericho or Harty to save his ass but then targeted my ass! Good show good show Flair buddy.Bit of a bummer here, but it was Jericho or The Rock. And your ass seems to be as flippant as the Hardy Boyz when it comes to seriously hunting down Mafia, so I'm glad Flair is riding it.

Rikishi's Ass;2935957"]But something I don't like more is how Bretty Wetty Hart boy is agreeing with him so much. I mean, they seem in cahoots to me and that smells pretty bad. And trust me it's not just the smell of my ass, I washed this mornin'. Got right up in there, clean as a whistle now.

So brodudes I'm gonna stick to my guns and say Hart is a scummy wench and I'm gonna get you you sunglasses wearing scumbag.

##Vote: [M] Bret Hart

Once you flip dirty blood red then I'm gonna take down your compadre Flair. Word to your mother. You can't stop my ass once it gets rolling.I wholehartedly apologize if you fail to acknowledge good ideas when they are presented to you. If Flair can sell a good story, if New Jack can sell a good story, iff anyone can sell me a story chock full of logic and good 'ol detective spirit, I'm there and I'm buying. I might not burp it up later so my friends can share, but I pack it away for good measure. It's smart. If :bou::bou::bou::bou: stinks later, I know why and from where, buddy.

[M] Harry - Dad's Dad
12-18-2010, 02:44 AM
Dued lighten up a little. Everything's so dark 'cause yo wearing sunglasses, that's why brodude.

The Rocky Wocky's roleclaim seems bogus yeah, sure, but if it's not then he's useful. A paranoid cop is useless to us except as bantha fodder, but maybe The Rock has just investigated every damn mafia + the miller since the beginning. In any case I don't know and can't figure it out yet so I don't care. I feel this was similar to what everyone else was trying to ram down my throat with the jihadist -- Can't figure it out so stop distracting everybody. holy motherfucking :bou::bou::bou::bou: batman, I can't figure you folks out. Gimme clear instructions on what can and cannot be discussed and we coo', we'll roll like dat.

The moral of the story is though kidlings: Don't be a scummy bastard and enjoy yourself before you die. Aw yea.

Not only am I a fail of a townie, but I know why there were two deaths night two.

I had one bullet and I put it into Gobo, I had reasoning then, but it doesn't make sense to me now... I'm sorry man :(

So yeah, someone (probably mafia) killed Triple H, I shot Kurt Angle.

Why am I saying this? Because I messed up and the town needs to know, and by knowing, we can make the right choices.

One person died night zero, who knows why, probably mafia.
Two people died night one, due to an explosion. This was probably caused by the Jihadist, so where is the Mafia's kill?
Two people died night two, one was my bad shooting, and the other was probably the mafia.
No one died night three, where is the mafia's kill?

I can only think of two reasons why this would be so, either the mafia can only kill every other day, or we have a protecting role who has done a great job night one and three.

Hopefully this is useful somehow, I've probably condemned myself regardless, but we'll see...

WOOOO A lot has happened in the last couple of hours. Time to try and make sense of all of it.

First, Buff that is quite a revelation there! That gets a double WOOOO from the Nature Boy. Since you've already laid your cards on the table, maybe you can tell us why you picked the Olympic hero. Even it he's dead now it will help us believe your claim and know you haven't gone over to the nWo. Because, for me, his last minute vote switch from me to Jericho pretty much cleared him as town once I found Jericho's true colors. WOOOO A mafia wouldn't care if me or Y2J got it because a dead town is a dead town. So I'm wondering why you chose your one bullet for him.

Dios Mio! Sorry hermanos, Max Mini's Inglés ain't so good and these threads put him right into the deep end. I don't really have time to do a super long post but just to list where I stand. The Ultimate Warrior is the one that I am the most suspicious of at this point, everything he's said has been pretty much indecipherable (don't ask me where I learned that word, esé) and he put a lot of heat on Hulk Hogan as his character and has done very little since. He keeps referencing hogan for added confusion, he voted for Flair at a point where it feels to me that Flair was one of the most helpful players we had (maybe not innocent, but still helpful), and I won't look into it too much but there was also his jokey team up call to the Hardy Boyz who is another character I don't like.

The Hardy Boyz seem to do a whole lot of nothing with a whole lot more nothing to back it up, and I know it's kinda stupid/hypocritical for me to be criticizing people for being minimalist with their play style but I still think it's worth it to keep an eye on this guy.

At various other points I've been suspicious of Hart and New Jack but I skimmed through there old posts and I think those might have been fleeting because I couldn't find anything solid to base that on.

So Rocky, who did you investigate the other 2 nights? The cat is out of the bag now so you may as well spill the beans. WOOOO But now I'm starting to suspect foul play here and that my vote switch to Jericho may have been a bigger mistake than I thought!

Yeah we need to get down to business here. So far the people I trust are Jack, Show, and now Buff the Stuff. To a lesser extent I think the Hardyz are clean, though they don't do much to help with anything.

For the Rock, he needs to come justify his actions and clarify his 'investigations'. Why did you vote for Dat Ass before Hogan for instance? His shoulders are on the mat now so there's no reason not to come clean.

For Rikishi, he's been posting a lot more which is good all around. I will now read through his posts in particular and see if he still warrants my vote.

[M] The Big Show – I think most people have figured out the identity of The Big Show at this point and we all realize the player hasn't played a game of EoFF Mafia in some time. Still, this doesn't mean we should count him out because he could be every bit as shrewd and cunning as the most veteran among our ranks. His posts about other players in the game don't really stand out, and while he does have opinions, they're not especially strong.

[M] Buff Bagwell – At this stage in the game we still have a couple of players who appear to be inactive but have yet to be replaced. This should tell us they're doing something to stay in the game, and something we can't see. That should be incredibly suspicious.

[M] The Hardy Boyz – The Hardy Boyz are pretty mysterious to me because they tend to run a bit hot and cold in the game. They make very, very occasional but semi-strong points concerning other players and as such they blip everyone's radar but then get lost in all of the other noise. As has been pointed out by several other players, this is an excellent scum tactic that's repeated over and over again by many scumbags for one simple reason; it works.

[M] Max Mini – Very similar to the Buff Bagwell scenario, with the exception that this particular player seemed to have more activity in Day 0 or Day 1. Can't remember which. Of course things come up, sometimes people forget to post, but still. Someone who is not very active but hasn't been replaced.

[M] New Jack – New Jack is clearly a veteran player, but one who's been bitten more times than he cares to recall, I think. He relies primarily on instinct, and definitely lives in the moment. He is reactive, not proactive in his apparent search for scum. A good example of what one could call “hiding in plain sight.” (I think I've said that once before, or at least thought it.)

[M] Ric Flair – Flair definitely serves as the foil to New Jack. A veteran who relies almost exclusively on post analysis and comparison. While this strategy does provide probably the best method for routing our scum it is the most time-consuming. Flair lacks a sense of urgency that other players definitely make up for and from time to time seems to grasp for straws. The lack of urgency is notable – while we undoubtedly got lucky that we didn't lose another two players on our second night in a row, we're still not sitting so pretty.

[M] Rikishi's Ass – Rikishi is, along with The Hardy Boyz and Max Mini, among the most suspicious characters to me. He creates just enough of a blip for others to recognize him but the content of his posts seems to lack conviction for me. He's not a hot head like New Jack, he's not analytical like Flair. He responds when prodded. That's about as much as I can say for him.

[M] The Ultimate Warrior – I think this is some kind of crazy power role for one side or the other, or something like a survivor or a jester. The pure fact that his posts are so... dense (in the way of verbiage, I mean, not in the way of intellect) makes me want to believe there's some hidden content in them. That there's something we should all see that we're not quite getting.

Either that or he's just a goofball.

[M] The Undertaker – While this characters activity does seem to fluctuate, I really find no reason to mistrust him. Is that in itself suspicious? Definitely. Some players over the course of these games have proven themselves to be excellent at deflecting just enough attention that any thoughts given to them rarely go beyond a “nah, that guy is totally town.”

[M] The Rock – The Rock is a semi-veteran, I think. His arguments don't often stand on their own, they rely on support from others that post previous to him or just subsequent. Evenso he's given some interesting veiled bluffs I'd like to learn more about. One thing that is interesting is that most people choose not to engage in debates with him. I have no idea why that would be so. On my list of suspicions he's not at the top, but he's also not at the bottom.

[M] Bret Hart – Obviously a slow starter. I'm just wondering mostly why he has so much to say now and so little to say previous to now. He makes excellent points, but they seem like they're a day late and a dollar short. What gives with that and where were all of his observations in the first few days.

[M] Stone Cold – I have definitely been using too much instinct and not enough synthesis and analysis. Much like New Jack I've been waiting to see what people will say and neglecting what people have said. It's a delicate balance in the comparison between old and new posts. A lot of evidence can be found in between. In my votes that've resulted in lynchings, I was wrong. Damn.

Obviously a couple of important.... things... have happened since I was making that monstrosity of a post based on my notes. I'm not sure why the hell Bagwell would make a roleclaim like that. He claims to feel as if he's screwed up to the point that he's put the town in danger... why wouldn't he be making up for it by actively join in discussion, making assertions, and trying to root out the scum? Instead he lames himself by his admission, losing his status as a town asset, at least a person we could assume had some sort of interesting abilities, and throws a little pity party.

Like I said before, we got really lucky in that the scum didn't make a kill last night. Hopefully either a well played protective role or a real dumb mafia. Now isn't the time to bemoan ourselves repeatedly, now is the time to change things for the better in whatever way you can.

Max Mini is increasing on my scum-o-meter. Just shows up, makes a vote, goes away. No discussion, no viable reason for he vote, no train of thought for other players to follow. Seems like someone doesn't want us to follow his or her train of thought. Hmm.

I have looked at no less than 10 online definition sites and in my own personal dictionary and have not seen even one that comes close to what you think conviction means. There is nothing in the definition of conviction about unshakable faith or lack of evidence. In fact, in legal terminology, the term convicted is used when a person who is accused of a crime is found guilty of that crime by a judge, jury or court based on evidence presented.

In short, don't piss down my leg and call it rain.

I've looked into Rikishi. He's been posting more in 'character' now which makes it a lot harder to analyze, and that could be on purpose. :/ But he does keep making slipups. Saying the Day 2 vote was between me, Jericho, and Hart when it was me, Jericho and The Rock instead. And then he says Bagwell had a chance to tie it but Buff was no where to be seen in those final hours!

His vote is on Bret now, saying that once he takes down the Hitman he'll go after me next. He seems so sure of the future, when anything can happen in this game. My vote stays.

Take this with a grain of salt and let it be known that The Rock has painted the following jabronies red... First it was Hogan. Next, it was the Undertaker after taking no action on Night 1. Last night, The Rock finally looked at himself. All red to him, but why would The Rock also be red? The Rock is probably a fraud of a cop, or a big phony making his bluff. Make your call, jabronies.

You don't have to make a lot of votes, you just have to make 1. You seem to be just sitting back and waiting for things to happen instead of throwing your hat in the ring. This isn't the first time you've done this:

Stone Cold;2934541']No vote for me right now. Just going to enjoy a cold one and watch what everyone does. What?

You do, however, make a good point about fringe players. People saying just enough to stick around. This applies to more than me, though. The only thing I've done differently is fall out of character (because I only know a few catchphrases) and not vote with every post. I tend to be a little more judicious with my vote. I don't change them often.

Stone Cold;2934931']What does Guerrero's death tell us? Not a lot because the character was mostly inactive. The only interesting part is that we voted for one another, he for me when it almost got my lynched and me for him because I really didn't find any behavior at that point suspicious. It didn't come close to getting him lynched and I don't think anyone saw him as a threat. It's an odd kill.
And here's probably one of the most telling things:

Stone Cold;2934931']I'm thinking there's probably at least one mafia that's hiding behind the inactive mask and (an)other(s) who are hiding in plain sight. Has Buff Bagwell made any posts at all? I'm not sure, but I think we've heard from everyone except Buff.
Note that Stone Cold doesn't fit either of those criteria. He is neither inactive or one of the most active. So don't suspect him!

The only thing that bugs me is that long post he made about everyone. Mafia have to be verrrrry careful about what they say about their buddies. Making a post about them is risky. But, now that I think about it, he did miss Buff's return in that post. It could have been that he typed it up during that time, or maybe he had it posted in his mafia forum for them all to approve and that took a lot of time. In fact I think that's the case!

This might be too late, but Austin, I should have never gone away from you.

WOOOO That Rikishi kill doesn't really make sense to ol' Nache, but at least that's one suspect off of my list. That leaves Stone Cold, Hart, and Undertaker as my prime targets. But first I got something to say about that scum jabroni, The Rock.

Mafia Traitor is not a role we've had before, at least not in any game I remember. Here's what the mafiascum wiki says about it:

The Traitor is a role with a pro-Mafia alignment that is not actually in the Mafia family. The Traitor knows who is in the Mafia, but the Mafia do not know who the Traitor is. The Traitor uses through his or her vote to keep the Mafia from getting lynched and wins with the Mafia.

Traitors appears as 'innocent' to cops and sometimes have investigative abilities whose results will help the mafia learn who the town power roles are. But they cannot divulge that information privately until they are recruited by the Mafia, at which point they lose their investigative ability and become a mafia goon.

Most times, the Mafia has to give up their night-kill in order to recruit the Traitor. If the Mafia targets the Traitor for a night-kill, then they may either kill the Traitor or recruit the Traitor depending on the mod's predetermined choice.

In games where the Traitor cannot be recruited, the Traitor usually loses automatically if the "main" Mafia group is lynched or otherwise removed from the game.
We don't know what if any twists Psy/DK put on the role, but I'm going to guess that at the start of the game he knew who the scum were but they didn't know who he was. In night 2 he was possibly recruited. Aiming for what they thought was a cop, they got a new member instead! That would explain the lack of kill that night. It could also be that some doctor protected correctly. I don't really know!

I'm saying all this because I think there may be a clue in Rocky's posts. Maybe not so far as to who the other scum are, but chances are he didn't vote for any of them, for example.

[M] Colette
12-19-2010, 08:40 AM
We've definitely had traitors before. I think in some games the mafia was made aware of the fact that there was a traitor out there and they could recruit him instead of killing whenever they pleased. Sometimes they just had the option of choosing any player they wanted and recruiting them. One game the traitor was promoted to Mafia Cop when recruited.

Whatever the case he was mafia aligned. If we look to his supposed investigation targets we may find some scum. He may have listed his buddies in an effort to distance himself from them.

I guess I never played a game with a traitor. I remember Usurper but that's it.

I'm saying all this because I think there may be a clue in Rocky's posts. Maybe not so far as to who the other scum are, but chances are he didn't vote for any of them, for example.

The recruitment likely would have happened on Night 3, wouldn't it? That's the night where there was no kill. That means the Mafia would have known who he was on Day 4 (yesterday). There weren't exactly a ton of votes for The Rock yesterday, so it's unlikely any Mafia would have voted for him. I think we'll get as much from looking at who didn't vote for The Rock yesterday as looking at who he had voted for up until he died.

New Jack is back y'all! The Original Gangsta told y'all Electric Rocky man was scum & New Jack is glad to see town strike back against the mafia y'all! But now New Jack need a new target!

Having read back through this thread, again, New Jack has decided the next person (or people) most likely to be scum is the Hardly Boys. Spam like posts, seemingly baseless voting, not explaining y'alls vote & all of y'alls posts are shorter then a short bus! New Jack hopes this vote will at least get y'all talking

I would have thought the case against me had gotten better and not worse after yesterday. I mean, I never actually voted for that Traitor Rock yet Bret did. Are you saying that Hitman was either unaware that Rocky was on his side or it was some kind of mafia ploy?

I just really don't like either of you.

Okay lemme break it down. By "maybe not" I meant that it's possible that I'd die. Because if I get a majority lynch I'd most likely die, right? You seemed to think I was implying something about a role, and with my previous post I was saying that that is not the case. The reason why I said "customized Hated Townie" is because the traditional Hated Townie needs one less vote than usual to lynch, and if I had a role where just one vote could kill me it would be similar to Hated Townie.

But that is not my role. I was merely commenting on the fact that I had one single vote. I do not intend to roleclaim.

Yeah I meant Night 3. I was tired.

Here's the people who voted for The Rock on Day 2 and Day 4. Correct me if I'm wrong, the lack of vote counts makes this harder.

Day 2: New Jack, Big Show, Undertaker

Day 4: New Jack, Big Show, Bret Hart, no-vote

So that's why I find it odd that the Hardyz would vote for Bret today. Bret voted for a known scum. It's true that Rocky may have never been recruited at all but we don't actually know what the Traitor was in this game. So voting for a someone who just helped the town find it's first foe doesn't make much sense. Especially since it comes with very little explanation.

It's definitely relevant. If he got recruited, the Mafia would have known who he was before he died. If not, they would have thought he was just another townie.

[M] Kurt - Cool Dad
12-19-2010, 10:14 PM
Not just a townie, but a cop too! For they would have little reason to doubt his roleclaim. Which is why I think he was targeted and recruited in Night 3.

But New Jack does have a point, the focus is to find a scum today.

Now the Warrior makes hilarious posts, but they don't seem to say much. He's definitely having fun with his gimmick but it's causing us to turn a blind eye to him. At the start it would be a risky thing to hide behind because craziness gets you votes in the first days, but now it's causing us to disregard him. I try to go through his posts but it's hard to interpret them! He did say he believed The Rock's roleclaim though. Anyone think there is anything to that?

In his video he calls out Max Mini. I do agree Max needs to step into the ring with the rest of us, so I hope he accepts the Warrior's challenge.

Rikishi's Ass's death is a dangerous one. He was after me, which paints me in a bad light. I argue he painted himself in a bad light by agreeing with The Rock too much. I can't help it I am trying to tie scum together. Using the one known scumbag for a base, I looked to who clicked with Rocky and not in thin ways. Unwittingly the guy threw his lot in with a mafia and I apologize for not being a cop that could have realized he was clean. I'll makeout with Vince better next time. That's all I got and I can't say RA's death did me any favors.

My mistakes have been not using that blend of analysis and instinct I was talking about earlier and not focusing enough on what the less vocal players are saying, as opposed to you and New Jack. I just kind of wrote off Rock's roleclaim as someone trying to prevent a lynch because they wanted to keep playing, not because they may have had legitimate investigative abilities for the other team.

Today I've been at work all day, so I'm not lazy and I haven't been specifically waiting on Mini. I just find it to be very odd that Undertaker went inactive and has been replaced. Max Mini, with similar posting and activity levels (up to now) has yet to be replaced by the mods. Which leads me to believe that Mini is not inactive. That he has some kind of night time ability. If it's a pro-town ability he's doing a really bad job in trying to influence the lynch vote. That's what a good cop or doctor would do instead of roleclaim - they find better ways to influence the daytime events. So I still think he's up to something at night.

Even so The Hardy Boyz are really not giving us a whole lot of effort either. Seems more like they're just showing up and making stuff up as they go along. As Flair pointed out, targeting Hart on the random based on initial feelings from the very start of the game is pretty doofy behavior. Again, if they know something we don't know they're doing a really bad job influencing the vote.

That being said, Flair is kinda doing that with me. All you can really say is that I'm suspicious because I'm not doing anything suspicious? That's pretty broken logic. Why else do you keep coming back to me?

As it stands I'm going to ##vote: The Hardy Boyz. Active players who don't make contributions in voting or in discussion are pretty fishy.

Could be paranoid, given that everyone but the Warrior came up guilty (that link we posted was our result, so he's most likely a neutral party), but uh, Hogan came up Miller, The Rock came up Traitor, and Flair and Hart are just mega suspicious to us. We'll find out soon enough anyway.

So to recap, Hogan, Ric Flair, The Rock, The Warrior, Bret Hart, in that order. The Warrior is..."silly"...I guess, everyone else is guilty. There now, I've given you plenty to discuss.

Bret Hart;2936605']Oh whoa, magic.

New Jack;2936593']
Bret Hart;2936590']I had to choose between useful people in this game, both me and Flair come before you, Hardyz.

Why suddenly pals with Nature Bhoy Mr Change Of Hart? New Jack doesn't like this statement at all y'all. New Jack chased Electric Rocky Man for 2 game days so don't forget Hart, the Original Gangsta helped that lynch not Nature BhoyYeah, but you weren't in line for a lynching, New Jack. Glad to see you were after The Rock. I did my own detective work on him too, so you like that about yourself, I'd like some courtesy as well. I don't play this game to lose to mafia.

I cannot recall flip-flopping anywhere. Get quotes and votes. Otherwise, you're blowing smoke like scum and should re-think your conclusions.

Tryin to cast doubt on the Original Gangsta? The last act of a desperate man! All anyone has to do is read through this thread & y'all been kissin Nature Bhoy's a$$ for a reason New Jack cannot find in this thread. You flippin from mafia hunter then floppin to a$$ kisser. New Jack don't get it

I don't know who is going to hang, but here's a mini-farewell in case I'm out.

Ric Flair - I always gave this guy the thumbs up. A little nutty, a little crazy, but good. Voting to pressure people is a great explanation, but when Ric did it with The Rock or Jericho on the line, I wondered. When the Hardyz kept up their crusade, I wondered. I still do, but I also like his playing. Did he turn on me as mafia or concerned townie?

New Jack - I like him. He questions everyone and everything. You vote strangely or out of line, and he's after you. He's quick to vote too. There isn't long debate in his head about what's to do, which is what scum do when deciding victims both lynch and night. I never doubted for a minute he was town and am/was glad to provide him backup. I know why he's turned coat.

Hardyz - smurfing Hardyz. Annoying as crap and that's it. That's all I have against them. Without offering any info, it's hard to pull up why they would deserve a lynch, and that's what they're aiming for: no reason, no lynch. But that's also no reason to keep them around because they don't share opinions, deduct with the team or nothing.

Big Show - Another radar ducker. But he makes good points and has never given indications he has a hidden agenda he's working towards. Is he suspicious? Everyone is. But at least he sits there and analyzes things and shares his thoughts.

Stone Cold - I'm still with Flair on this guy. Outside of the radar entirely, and then all of his long hard thinking sessions get him bandwagon votes or votes for inactives. A very tame player, considering we're closing Day 5.

And I check what's been posted since I started writing, and the Hardyz are cops. I guess I should have expected that. If I had more time today, I probably would have hunted down Mini or Cold. Interesting Flair came up scum.

Guess I'm going try to join the new trend with that news and it's lights out for me by now for votes?

##UNVOTE: Hardy Boyz

Paranoid Cop should have checked himself by now.

That's a waste of an investigation. Unless I'm actually paranoid. Then it doesn't really matter what I do with it now, does it? Don't tell me how to be a cop :colbert:
