Its not just southern California. Its like half the female teenage population, at least around here. I can't view the video, but I'm almost positive I saw it before. Where she teaches you basically how to do the emo make-over. Bleach your hair, straighten it, give it volume, put on lots of eyeshadow and eyeliner, etc. I think she looks good at both the beginning and the end. I'll admit to being a sucker for hooker make-up, but I'm not desensitized to normal-pretty. Though I imagine she's young enough to get me on a list for talking about her looks either way

I'm not sure what to categorize the look under. Scene? The make-up may be hooker'y, but the whole look is what's trendy these days, and they're not trying to look like hookers (not intentionally anyway lol). Its just trendy. Emo started it, so that's why I used that word. But I guess they are called scene these days

I like the scene look but then what am I if not an overblown "scene kid" (I seriously got called this the other day by some damn wannabe emo who didn't even know who Rise Against were let alone be able to name other hardcore/punk/metal acts) he basically thought he knew emo by listening to MCR and 30stm and hadn't actually dug in to the wealth of music there and ofcourse being he was "emo" I had to just be a scene kid who was less knowledgeable than thou. Heck I confused him with a Blink-182 lyric even. I ofcourse slammed his little triade against me down harder than King Leonidas slams people with his shield in 300...all because I wouldn't serve his spotty little arse a dvd what was rated 18 without ID or his parents present. ...Anyway, to be blunt, she wasn't too bad looking to begin with if anything she had makeup on designed to make her look worse than she would normally. Still the end result was pretty damn impressive, I'd go for it on a night out.
