Do you know what this word means? And hint it's not used as a verb or a noun.

Prove to me you understand my crazy dialect.

Are you sure it's not a verb?

yes dear. That's a homonym that means to use force to open something.

Actually, it's an adverb if you wanna be techincal.

This isnt supposed to be a brain teaser or anything. But if you know what I'm talking about you'll know pretty quickly ( I would hope )

Yes, I know what "pry" means. I don't know what you think it means, but I do know the definition of the word.

it sounds like someone saying "pretty" very fast, but other than that, all I got is prising things from other things.

I know what you mean. Fucking Ohio and it's fucking bat:bou::bou::bou::bou: insane way of speaking. Under no circumstances should that word even come close to meaning what you Ohio folks are using it as. What do I call you guys anyway? Ohioites? Ohions? Crazy?

:p

Yeah, in Ohio people often say pry instead of saying Probably or even Prolly. We Ohioans are ridiculous. This was brought to my attention in late 2008 and we all don't even hear it. We feel as though we're saying probably or prolly.

I think we need a voice clip. I tried to find something on Youtube but no luck.

We also give it arbitrary grammar rules of which we aren't aware. :p

Rantzigen, it sounds just like it is spelled. Just take the word probably out of a sentence and replace it.

It's idiot for "You know what I'm saying?" and now you are less educated than you were a minute ago. You're welcome.

This reminds me of when people say, "'Nah mean?"

I have a co-worker who says it at the end of every sentence in casual conversation.
