Final Fantasy III heading for iPhone

After Final Fantasy Tactics, Square Enix has announced they are re-releasing Final Fantasy III for iPhones. More information here (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/20/square-enix-bringing-final-fantasy-iii-to-iphone/). I wonder if we ever get a PSP version of FF3.

Interesting. I wonder if it'll just be a port of the DS version, or actually a 2D version.

Looks like the DS version with some newer interface stuff and higher resolution textures.

At least with this version, critics can stop knocking points off for the top screen being unused. :p

It's out, and I got it today. It's got better graphics than the DS version on any retina capable iPhone. FF1, 2 and 3 all in my pocket, and w/o shuffling cartridges around - it's heaven. I figure the iPhone can handle ports up to FF9, which would be great for me, because I lost interest in the direction FF took in 10, 12 and 13.

I hope they release this version of FFIII for PSP, and then shortly after, V and VI.
