I'm going to my friend's bachelorette party tomorrow and I want to bring goodies. Any recommendations? So far I'm going to make fruit salsa and Jell-o shots, but I want to bring at least one more snacky food.

Small egg salad or chicken salad sandwiches are always popular. Or just make chicken salad and bring crackers to spread it on!

That's a good idea. Add that to my "definite maybe" list for now.

Adding to those salad ideas: shove them in mini pita bread for petite pita sandwiches.

Ideas:
- mini corndogs
- 50pc nug from McD's
- stack of Hungry Man dinners, one for each person in attendance
- tall boys of Steel Reserve, again one for each person in attendance.

Y'all eat like a bunch of namby-pambies.

It's four girls. Girls from Southern California. None of those are organic.

When I go to a party I like to eat my weight in snack food rather than "real food." Pizza is great and all, but I'd prefer twenty tiny sandwiches and a plate of fruit or veggies with ranch. Also it's not a party without guacamole.

Is it still considered a party if there are only five people in attendance? That sounds like a gathering.

It's a party if we get drunk enough.

Our male counterparts are going to Vegas without us, the buttholes.

So the guys are going to Vegas and the girls are having salad?

you need better friends.

This happened when I got married too! I hate boys.

I have good friends, just that the guys call dibs and then ban us from going.

Just bring three tins of caviar and go to town on it.

Do smelt eggs count? I'm kind of tempted to do that now...

Cantaloupe wrapped in pancetta is delicious and works really well as finger food. Plus it's so damn easy to make.

Any kind of dip is good since you don't need to keep it hot, and you can just pick some up from the store instead of making it yourself. If you want something more hearty, chicken or beef meatballs are really easy to make and you can just stick a toothpick on it and ta da! Party food!

Asian noodle salad is also good for parties. And if I were going to choose something easy, but kinda fancy, I'd go for wonton wrapped shrimp: Shrimp Appetizer - Wrapped Shrimp (http://thaifood.about.com/od/thaisnacks/r/wontonwrappedshrimp.htm)

I was going to make nectarines wrapped in prosciutto with a little ricotta but I couldn't find any nectarines. If you say cantaloupe works (which I hate so very much) then maybe I'll just use peaches.

Mm, those shrimps look good.

What's wrong with chips and dip? Do it.

This is why no one will touch you.

Pfft, "chips and dip."

Plenty of people touch me. I got to parties to drink, not eat anyway. Just get more alcohol and pretend you're cool.

Puppy chow (http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1947,159174-243201,00.html), tomato & cucumber sandwiches, bean dip, cheeses, veggies & hummus, dates wrapped in bacon (seriously. seriously. I could die,) also asparagus wrapped in pie crust or rolled in panko or sesame seeds then baked. Yum yum.
