I just hardcore stubbed my toe on the end of the couch in my stepdad's house. Pretty sure I felt my toe touch the top of my foot  I hate stubbing my toes so much, it makes me want to hit the diety of misfortune in the smurfing face. :twak:
Do you stub your toes a lot?

Nope, I learned how to walk properly when I was very young.

It doesn't happen too often, but I've stubbed my toes a few times. I just want to say that I agree that this motherfucking hurts like a bitch. Though to answer your question if I do this a lot, no.

I stub my toes rarely, worse for me is when using pump trucks for moving heavy loads at work I tend to be the unlucky sod who will have it snag on the side of the lift and leap in to the back of my heel.

That sounds rather painful Iceglow :|

I read the title of this thread then proceed to go to the kitchen for some water and stubbed my toe along the way. I blame your vile curse.

Fucking legs, how do they work?

Smashing your Achillies Tendons with a steel truck sometimes loaded with a wooden pallet holding up to 2.5 metric tons in to the back of your heel? Is more than a little painful. Even empty it's enough to buckle your leg in pain with a crap ton of stock it's painful enough to require a sit down for 5/10 mins as you blink away the pain.

I will say though these days in my present job the main injuries like this are caused by empty pump trucks because we tend to stack stock boxes loose on these things or in gray trays. The building is old and the stock passages are tight, too tight in fact for most of our tools we use to move stock these days but widening them reduces shop floor space which goes against the idea of having more space for customers. Sometimes getting in or out of the lift, especially in the basement is a real tight corner and the truck will jam before it eventually drags through, the sudden release of the truck means it will slam forwards it's either over your toes (yay broken toes unless wearing steel caps) or in to the heel of your foot.

A fucking pallet jack?

Yes, if thats what you pseudo-English speakers call it. They're called a Pump/Pallet Truck over here.

One time my mother stubbed her toe and then it was completely sideways. It was disgusting.

Silly, rubah, you drive forklifts.

You also walk without kicking things.

You people seem to fail at basic things.

I don't stub my toe too often, but the last time I can recall it involved the nail coming off the toe. That toe still makes weird popping noises even though it was years ago. That's probably why I don't stub my toe much anymore. That was a lesson learned. :(

Whenever I stub my tow if I'm at home I put a bag of frozen peas or corn on my foot and it numbs the pain. :p

Make sure the bag is sealed though or your peas/corn will have the unwanted taste of foot

If there's some vegetable worse than peas...it's foot-peas. :barf:
