I can wait for this game to come out and for you lucky Americans, you only have one more month to wait. Hopefully it will not take to long to get it in the UK.

So, here what you can expect:YouTube - PlayStation3's Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/PlayStation3?v=zSl0jfoblwc&feature=pyv&ad=11058475554&kw=infamous%202%20trailer)

Thats right, your not just kicking ass with lightning powers anymore. Now you are able to use Fire and Ice based attacks. You can also acquire Telekinesis. The powers you gain depends on whether you align with good or Evil.

Speaking of which, you now get a sexy babe who tries to get you to align with them.
Represent the side of good is Kuo34328. Siding with her will give you the ice powers.
Representing the side of evil is Nix34329. Siding with her will give you the much more awesome fire powers.
Hopefully choosing one or the over will have a bit more impact than last time. In the first game, choosing evil over good made no difference to the story, all it did was make you look evil and made everyone in the city hate you.

The main story is that a new, less gritty looking and sounding Cole enters New Marais (which is pretty much New Orleans) to try and aquire new powers to take on the Beast. Im not going to go into detail about the story because I dont want to spoil it for people who haven't played the first.

Heres what he looks like: Old Cole34326 New Cole34327

Apart from looking fresh faced, he also comes with a weapon which he will now use for melee attacks which looks cool and easier to control than the wild punches that he used to do in the first game. It looks like a two rod bat with electricity running through the middle, but im sure he'll use it like a sword.

Within the game, you are able to create your own missions. Ranging from Defensive, Escort, Search and Destroy, Survival, Assault Courses, Shooting Gallery, Platforming, Time Trials, Races, Stealth and apparently many more. An infinite possibilities which you can share with people online. If enough people give your created mission a high rank, then Sucker Punch make it an added feature for everyone copy of the game. (Internet access required)

Zeke also makes a return and is still your best bud.

Everything looks a lot more grand, with your powers packing more of a punch, massive fight scenes with a smoother running game. Cant wait to buy it.

The new Cole looks and sounds absoultely terrible, I'm really bummed that they did that to the character.
Apart from that the game looks great, I've seen the gameplay and I can't wait for it to come out here in the UK.

This is the revised version of Cole; originally he looked worse.

I can't remember the name of the melee weapon so my informed appearance ends here. :p I have heard it's pretty sweet, and everything I've seen suggests the same, but...

I'm more interested in the plot. inFamous didn't do it for me. I am interested to see what happens with the plot though, so I might pick it up anyway.

I thought the plot of the first game was actually pretty good - it was just told in a really bad way. The dialog was pretty bad and all of the karma moments were just dumb.

I'm interested in the new one, though. The first game was actually lots of fun and I loved running around the city. The mission editor should be cool, because I actually found myself wishing I had more to do after the game was over. It didn't really take too much to clear out all of the districts and find the dead drops, and collecting blast shards got kind boring.

I should've been clearer there - I loved the plot of inFamous which is why I'm excited for the sequel. It was just the game that didn't do much for me :p

The story was pretty cool and it left the ending wide open for a sequel.

What did you guys prefer, being good or evil. I personally felt that the evil powers were better than the good powers. I also preferred it because if I decided to go on a rampage, my karma wouldn't get messed up from killing the civilians. Although the people that randomly started throwing stones when your just looking for shards got pretty annoying.

I found the good powers to be better. The ability to recharge your energy by just normal shooting is by far the most useful imo. I also think blue looked cooler :D

I liked how both powers were clearly useful, so you didn't really get short changed for the path you picked. :p

I hope this time choosing good or evil has an actual effect. As much as I absolutely loved the first game, I hated your choices made no difference in anything important.

I wish they would have just kept him the way he was in the original. He looked great and his voice actor was fantastic. Now he looks and sounds like puberty's working in reverse.

Assuming you're talking about the design when Infamous 2 was first announced, I actually liked that design, if it was for a different character. He didn't even look remotely close to Cole. Infact, he almost looked like a latino dude.
