6 Hilarious Ways Game Designers Are Screwing With Pirates | Cracked.com (http://www.cracked.com/article_19162_6-hilarious-ways-game-designers-are-screwing-with-pirates.html)

An article I thought was pretty funny. Has anyone noticed any other examples of this occurring?

Can't think of any others off of the top of my head and had heard of some of these before. I'd say all of them are a lot better than the standard solutions that tend to punish legit owners (Assassin's Creed 2 on the PC for instance).

I'm pretty sure my ROM of Earthbound plays like a pirated copy of the game. It didn't crash, so I still enjoyed myself.

Why did I come into this thread thinking "Yargh", rather than game piracy? *Sigh* Disappointing. :(

EDIT: After reading it, though. Yay! Cracked is fun. :)

The article took the two I was gonna name. =/

But there was another game, I don't remember which one it was, but if you pirate the game it replaces all the dialogue with random symbols (or something like that). I can't think of what game that was though.

Once, I played this game, and it told me I was playing a pirated version of the game and I wasn't. :(
