You misspelt riccioli. That's okay, it's all foreign words.

In the great Italian tradition, all pasta is a vector for cheese and tomato sauce. Ravioli is the distilled essence of this.

I love pasta. All pasta, I hold no pasta prejudices. Whenever I'm hungry the first thought that comes to my head is pasta, and I never get bored of it. When I head to Rome in August I intend to taste every combination of sauce and shape available, and it will be grand.

I'm part Mexican so I can consume almost anything!

I love pretty much all pastas. My favorite is Penne in some sort of garlic tomato sauce. :D

Now I'm hungry.

Yeah, all but a few of my relatives are from Italy, so pasta is a staple for me.

And you're all wrong, Gnocchi > All

Tortellini is a close second.

We make it with ricotta, but I'll concede.

Either way, you put sauce on it and at Christmas it's served during the pasta course, so I don't even care!

Tortellini is #1, but ravioli is on the top shelf next to it.

I'm American so I'm just gonna take all your stuff, fuse it with Japanese food and call it fancy.

I'm not bothered to type Italiano names for these things, I'm lazy. I don't eat the shells anymore. One of the side effects of my jaw getting fucked up years ago is I haven't any sensation in my front teeth on my upper jaw. I can't tell hot or cold with them. So I've learnt from experience pasta shells and any other shape pasta where boiling water can pool inside and not be noticed visually are not good for me to eat, the first couple of times you bite in to a pasta shell on a spoon to taste if the pasta is cooked enough and literally burn the fucking skin off your lip and chin with boiling hot water is more than enough for you to go "Ok enough is enough" I eat tons of fusilli and penne though.

Fettuccine (or however you spell it) is great stuff. Especially spinich fettuccine.

And nothing beats a good marinara sauce. Unless it's a good carbonara or alfredo or bolognaise. Actually, a bit of olive oil and grated parmasan cheese to go with a plain pasta suits me too.

edit: and omg, gnocchi is on a whole other level of awesome.
