Middling Expectations

What are some times where you got exactly what you wanted/expected out of something? Or went into something feeling "meh" and came out still feeling "meh"?

Okay, kind of a bizarre question. Really I just wanted to make the thread.

Most video games I play nowadays fall into this area. I can tell they're pretty well made, and I respect that. They just don't suck me in like older games when I was younger. I'm old and jaded.
