Do I sense a voice thread? I think Irishmen and people from the Pacific Northwest should put up else shut up. Rye, what was your sentence from GHF? I will do it when they do it.

I do pronounce it that way - never knew it was incorrect!

I didn't know people used the word 'decal' at all. Is that short for De-Californication or something?

Because they do.

I can assure you that you are most certainly a liar. I suggest purchasing a fire extinguisher post haste if you have any desire to save your pants.

No, I'm serious, about 70% of the customers at my workplace are Canadian and they say "deckle."

I laughed when my coworkers warned me about it, but IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS I DON'T EVEN KNOW

My accent is thoroughly uninteresting, unless you are Huxley, in which case you cannot handle it when I mention Graham's Hovercraft in Spokane.

Lawl it's one of those colonies that doesn't produce enough brown people.

It's likely a regional thing - South Ontario here.

I'm in NW Washington. All the BC'ers come down here for deals. And deckles, apparently.

Where are these Canadians from? Because seriously, I might have heard it pronounced that way once or twice in my entire life. I have no doubt you may hear retarded pronunciations from some of the more retarded provinces like Alberta though. Screw those guys.

EDIT: Never mind, I see most of them are from BC. This surprises me. I always thought people from BC were pretty cool. On the plus side though, they have a lot of weed there. That has to count for something.

It's short for decalcomania according to Wikipedia.

I just know what they are.

If it's that widespread...we are all doomed. DOOMED.
