For all you chemists, doctors or cosmetic experts
If I was stuck in the desert and all I had was a bottle of skin moisturiser, should I drink the moisturiser to keep my inards...moist?
The moisturiser in question does not have any warning labels about it's consumption

It won't kill you but it certainly won't quench your thirst.
And sand will get stuck in it and it will get hella annoying
Edit: Oh, and masturbate

Masturbate. Is your plan to consume the ensuing secretion instead? That's probably pretty smart. But also incredibly disturbing. I'm going to salute you while slowly backing away.

Isn't skin moisturizer a cream and not a liquid? If so I think it would best until you need to make something moist and then apply it directly, even if the something that needs to be moist involves masturbation.
ITT:
>Fun/silly thread about whether or not to drink moisturizer
>Responses are predictably and understandably fun/silly
>Pike comes in and takes it all seriously because she's a nerd like that and is genuinely curious now
I want the list of ingredients on this particular moisturizer so I can wikipedia them, please. :holmes:
also, masturbate

Moisturizer can be edible (think shea butter)

the point of moisturizers is usually to provide some sort of oily shield to keep moisture from being in exposure to the air and then evaporating.
so no, it'd be useless

Of course it is perfectly safe. After all, in most moisturizers water or aqua is the top ingredient. Don't mind the alcohol or petrolatum or mineral oil. The water is the important part. You should be fine. :greenie:
