I present to you this proof, broken into logical steps. I dare you to even attempt to rebut this undeniable argument.

1. Most men like pornography.
2. Most terrorists are men.
3. Many terrorists have lots of pornography.
4. Pornography warps people's minds. Because, like, ew.
5. Ignore steps 1 and 2.
6. Use of pornography can lead to terrorism.

QED. (http://www.thepublicdiscourse.com/2011/08/3651)

I believe our country needs to invest in research that questions whether it makes a difference when the minds that advocate for extremist ideologies are minds warped by pornography use. Perhaps the twisting of the mind that results from pornography has an impact—an exceptionally dark, dangerous impact—on how radicalized individuals act out the concepts of their ideology.

I have the urge to go suicide bomb something now.

Breaking News: Rosie Palms and her five sisters caught constructing bombs in their basement. Their computer was seized for evidence; browser history shows RedTube among top views.

I don't really want to read the article to find the answer, but I guess the question is: Are they really ignoring steps 1 and 2?
Is there any cited evidence that expounds upon the "warped mind" to show how pornography leads to terrorism? Or terroristic (is that a word?) behavior?

Or is the entire article similar to my favorite argument against broccoli?

Everybody who eats broccoli eventually dies. Broccoli kills.

Raist, babe, if this was even half true you'd be Public Enemy #1.

I have a fun game; it's called "Replace the word 'Pornography' in that intro with another word or short phrase; post results".

"The frequency with which terrorists are found with books raises important questions about the possible effects of books on our national security. "

"The frequency with which terrorists are found with pineapples raises important questions about the possible effects of pineapples on our national security. "

"The frequency with which terrorists are found with My Little Pony toys raises important questions about the possible effects of My Little Pony toys on our national security. "

At least they're saying "I believe we need to look into this" rather than "This is true because I observed it." It's still a stupid thing to say though. I mean, other than it being totally true.

Make fun of this all you like. I'm just happy they've given me a scapegoat. Now I can go bomb that mosque/library/daycare/ice cream truck/whatever, and be guilt free.

Is that what they call it these days? "Suicide bombing"?

"Oh man, I was watching this hot porn and I totally suicide bombed all over my keyboard. :("

most all users of hard drugs drank soda before they started using said hard drugs. there for it is obvious that soda leads to addictions to hard drugs and should be outlawed as an obvious gateway drug
