This story has been going on for awhile. Out of all the places to go hiking they picked to go hiking near the Iranian border. That's like those people in that yacht earlier this year who decided to go through the sea off the coast of Somalia, where all the pirates are. Real smart! Guess people make stupid mistakes. Sucks for them, Iran being a anti-American place thinking they're spies when they're not.

Yeah I don't think it really takes a genius to avoid places like Iran if you are an American or European.

Of course, anyone who does do such a thing is probably of the opinion that Iran isn't so bad really and Dinnerjacket has legitimate grievances and our sympathy with Iran regarding America's oppressive hegemony means they'll be nice to us personally.
