Hello, dear EoFFers, I have a tantalizing problem here.
To put it in a short story, two out of three USB ports on my laptop are currently broken, so I was wondering if there was a way to replace them, OR some sort of port that plugs in and gives at least two ports.

buy yourself a usb multi-port hub. You can pick one up for less than £20 if you just want 4 ports (of course, on many cheaper models, the 4th port is the one where it connects itself to your usb port on the computer so this gives you 3 ports available) Be warned, using a usb hub will generally speaking slow down the processes of transferring data between usb devices and most likely will not allow for you to charge any devices on them.

As for getting the usb ports inside your laptop replaced? If the warranty is still valid, then give them a call and they will do it free of charge in most situations. If the warranty is expired look around for a specialist laptop repair shop, consider going to big brands such as PC World etc because they are obviously more qualified than some of the smaller ones out there. The job won't cost you much in the way of parts but depending on how long it takes them to do the job you may pay a lot in terms of labour charges. In the UK Labour can exceed £50 an hour.

That should solve your problems.

Well, I'm not looking to charge anything off of my laptop, so a multi USB hub sounds good!
It's just to find one...
Anywho, thank you!
