The time to vote is upon us. Sorry it's a little late, I got pulled away to other things yesterday.

Don't worry, you still have 5 days to vote! This months' theme was emotion. Pick the photo that makes you feel a certain emotion, or represents that emotion the best in yer opinion.

The winner is demondude!!! A photo I picked won! How about that? Congratulations to our most recently banned member. We're all quite proud of ya. Unfortunately he doesn't get to announce the theme himself, because of this. So I'll go ahead and announce that it's "Distortion." Yup, that's right. Go fucking nuts with it.

Thanks to all the players, and voters. Gear up for next month, it'll be a tough one!

Photo submissions below.

The happy kids one is exactly the type of picture I had in mind to take for this theme, but I don't know any kids. So I voted for that one. Let's hope next month's theme is a little more tangible.

I'm going for Happy in Love. Not only for the emotion I can see in the picture, but also for the emotion it stirs within me.

I'm voting for the aptly named "Dog" because I think it was creative to look outside human emotion which is the typical association.

Dammit, all of the entries are really good this month.

Another close one! So far, this is always my favorite part of running this little contest. :excited:

Clearly the adorabubble girls should win this.

Get a load of that portmanteau. Sexy.

I'm surprised so many people think that the dog looks sad. That expression is exactly the same expression my dogs have right before they take a nap.

Voted for the girls since it seems like the most genuine display of emotions. Kids are great like that, they don't filter.

I don't think the dog looks sad, actually. More reflective and hopeful. Like she's remembering something good and is just about to smile at the thought of it. I want to hug Dog.

Also I think it's just a great, crisp, striking picture.

The filtering of gi</>rl to wench has made this quite entertaining.

No worries! There's always next month. I already know what the theme is if one certain picture wins, and it's going to be even more abstract. :p

Yeah, the dog one is a pretty crisp picture. That person must have a good camera. The only problem with the bubbles one is that guy in the background, however he does appear to be holding bubble solution so that makes it ok.

Gooooooo bubbles!

:p He screwed up and he is serving his time. That's his punishment.

He earned the right to pick the new theme fair and square. You'll get one eventually. You and AngelWings8 make good photos. It'll happen.

No, that's our punishment, what are we supposed to do with distortion? :D he is punishing us for being banned :/

No, that's our punishment, what are we supposed to do with distortion? :D he is punishing us for being swabbin' the poop deck :/

Truthfully, he'd already picked "freedom" before he was swabbin' the poop deck. After it happened, he tactfully changed the theme. It would have looked a little too coincidental.

Distortion? Just use a slow shutter speed. :p

I actually thought of something to go for distortion, but I don't have a good camera or anything.

I actually thought of something to go for distortion, but I don't have a good camera or anything.

Try anyway! I might try something for this one. It might sound really limiting to some people, but distortion can be taken a few different ways.

My advice to everyone is to just have fun with this one. Don't think about it.

DOOOO EEEETT!! :kakapo:

I'm excited to have more people try. You haven't submitted a photo (at least one on time :p) for a competition yet!

DD, you should have picked horror or gloom for October. It might be cliche, but it's freakin' Halloween. I'll insult you since you can't defend yourself. You ass.

I got some great distortion effects out of my old titty phone camera. Just uh.... try not standing still while you take a picture.

I can't submit this picture because it was taken a couple of years ago, but it should give you some inspiration as to what you can do with a "bad camera"

There are ads for a health insurance policy here in Aus where they shoop the people's smiles REAL FUCKING BIG and it looks creepy as fuck. I want to find that without using shoopin'.
