I just spent $30 bucks in property tax to register.

S'true. It really depends on if it's a GOOD older car. Toyotas are stout. Still in a few more years the '87 will have no property tax, and the '90 won't be far behind.

Even my motorcycle doesn't cost that much.

No. It's not. My grandparents live in NC and they pay hundreds of dollars per year for property tax on their cars.

I'm a derp, and could have missed something but I think in SC it's taken care of together. :confused:

I payed the property tax and got my new registration sticker. It's the only thing like it that I pay on the cars every year.

Oh, I don't think we have that then!

Unless it's coming out of my paycheck or something.

We just have to pay to register and get tabs and stuff.

It varies state to state. Here the process is pay taxes, get inspection, get registration. Arms and legs are exchanged.

in Arkansas, you pay property tax on items the year after you own them.
