We all love Bethesda games. The ones with the all-expansive worlds, the immersive gameplay, the hundreds of hours of side-quests and, of course, the numerous bugs that litter your experience. So much so that I only buy a Bethesda game when the GOTY edition comes out and the majority of them are removed. However, sometimes they still linger. My personal favourite is the inability to complete the vampirism quest in Oblivion if you've finished the main quest. I really enjoyed having to revive an older save. I also like the numerous times in both Oblivion and Fallout where the game freezes and forces a reload, especially when you've just gotten to your destination.Apart from bugs, I enjoy the AI of companions and how they are unable to navigate such simple things like stairs, making my character push/hump them down them. So, what are your favourite 'Bethesda moments'. I'm really looking forward to playing Skyrim in end 2012/early 2013 to find some more glitches to truly satisfy me.

I loved the cheat wherein you could duplicate items by shooting them with an arrow and then watchin a cascade of them flying all over the place.

Invincible NPC's as teammates for the whole game.

Is best.

Lol, I have the PS3 edition, so that vampire cure glitch made me cry.

my favorite glitch is the one where you enter a casino in new vegas then your items are deleted because you spend too much time in the casino

my favorite glitch is the one where you enter a casino in new vegas then your items are deleted because you spend too much time in the casino This is what happens when you get impatient and buy the beta version of the game. I'll buy New Vegas when it's out of testing/the GOTY edition is released (same difference).

I started a new playthrough of Fallout 3 the other day. I got to the part where the sheriff of Megaton goes to arrest Mr. Burke in the bar. I tried to shoot Mr. Burke, but then he just started shooting at the wall while I filled him with bullets. The bar patrons, who were scared apparently, all got up and casually walked out while it all went down. I... didn't keep playing.

Any game that is this buggy gains honourary Bethesda game status. The fact that it's published by them and uses a lot of Bethesda engines just adds to that fact.

It's like Final Fantasy XIV. They give it out to people to play test and then fix it through patches ;)
Although, to be fair, in Bethesda's case, there are countless ways the game could go wrong. XIV was just rushed.

so. Skyrim. ... Im guessing they are gonna make one game for each race? so far they've had cyrodil; home of the high elves and imperials, morrowind; home of the dark elves.... where else? Skyrim is a nord or breton country I beleive?

off topic alert

edit: my favorite bug is the one in oblivion where if you play as a wench dark elf sometimes a glitch happens and from the beginning of the game on if you try to sit down you take 30 seconds to sit and you sit down where you were standing

I liked how those giant praying mantis things gave you experience for taking the legs, so if you just put them in a chest or something and took them back out you got more experience!
