Gaming Hero Tournament - Nominate within!

So it's been awhile since I have hosted any of these tournaments in General Gaming Discussion. Consider that I don't have much to do and there's a lack of important events going on at the moment, I might as well start one right now! But the problem is that I don't have anything so that is where this thread come in. You shall be nominating your favorite gaming heroes to compete with others for the top spot as Eyeson's most favorite hero of Video Games!

I believe the last time I hosted such a tournament like this the winner was Frog from Chrono Trigger! And that was five years ago, so will he be triumphant five years later, or will we see a new hero rise among the rest to become the best? Hero nominations begin! You may nominate up to fifteen characters at the most. Each nomination will count as one point when I'm tallying them.

So I guess nominating will last for a couple days when I receive enough heroes for a tournament.

Mint - Threads of Fate; I love how she's just completely up front about how she wants the relic for world domination and everyone is still like "okay we'll help you find it!"

Commander Shepard - Mass Effect; While Mass Effect isn't my favorite series, Commander Shepard is definitely my favorite protagonist. He/She fills that spot that many silent you-get-to-be-the-character heroes do while still having a distinct personality and not actually being silent. And that personality is pretty bad ass.

Any particular rules on who we can/can't nominate? I'm assuming since Frog was the last winner it doesn't necessarily have to be a "main character" so to speak...

Oh right. Some rules to go by then... Actually there are only two simple rules.

1. The hero obviously must be a playable character. (Ex. Samus Aran)
2. The hero can't be from a game based on a movie/comic/tv show. (Ex. Harry Potter)

Edit: Also want to mention this. If you nominated already, but want to nominate more, you are free to do so as long as you haven't nominated 15 characters already. So if you had nominated 5 characters earlier, you can nominate up to ten when you make more nominations. Once you reached 15, you cannot make any more nominations. If you happened to nominate more than 15, either because you weren't paying attention or just for lulz, I'll accept the first 15 characters you listed and no more. :bigsmile:

I think 15 nomination limit is unfair since I looked at the earlier tournament I did 5 years ago. I didn't have a limit so I'm going to drop the 15 limit and say you can name as many video game heroes, as long as they meet the criteria. This should help anyone that wants to nominate as many characters they want to see in this tournament.

And don't try to pull off what Hypoallergenic Cactuar tried to do.
