Hi everybody. I'm about to go out of my mind and destroy everything in the house and casual thoughts of suicide plague my mind n_________________n

so if you can start talking about things you do that cheer you up, that would be AWESOME. Especially things that aren't expensive so they are sustainable, repeatable, and YAY

Like for example, I love to cuddle ! Hell sometimes she doesn't even have to cuddle back it's just the awesomeness of having somebody to cuddle with.

Or making out with a girl. Especially in public. mmmmmm

Other than that, I like it when I listen to good music. I like the old school R&B from the 1990s (that's not very old school PG. You're such a newfriend)

How about you? Hurry up I'm about to cry.

(this is totally not a plea for help. Totally not. Dear god save me)

edit: I'm quite amused that I've been able to last so many months. Next year I'm taking my vacation in sept or early oct >_<

Playing drums (I feel good after, not during), or just generally listening to music.

I go for a long run until I can't breathe anymore, then keep walking until I can run again.

Eat a ton of candy. Or during this time of year, egg nog and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

(When my metabolism changes and I start actually gaining weight, I am going to be the fattest.)

My 1RM yesterday for DL was like 255 lbs. I was so 'meh' and off my game.

I like to imagine that I have a better life than I do or just think about something good that happened recently.

I also serve jerk customers expired coffee and smile politely as I watch them drink it. Always cheers me up.

You could do a Nick Swardson and beat up homeless people. That might work.

I watch Whose Line is it Anyway.

Both you and kalidesu said to watch stand-up. I think I'll go and do that.

The stupid thing is I know I'll get over it once the immediate environment (sigh work...so much work) goes away. waaah qq waaah qq xD etc

I find that thinking optimistically generally emphasises the badness of the current situation, so I keep my mind in a low place when I feel shit. I am also bad at changing my mood though so hm.

Create a rock so heavy that not even you can lift, the lift it anyway.

As a metaphor for self improvement and mental walls, this is solid. i want to scale a 5.8-9 without help

This is totally stupid and pointless but it cheers me right up.

In the evening, I stand at my house window with my car parked across the road. Whenever anyone walks past I turn my car alarm on and off with my keys...

Having a car beep at them is guaranteed to cause confusion for them... and amusement for me! :D

I also enjoy throwing rocks at children...

This didn't really get any less accurate. And I do tend to spend hours at the blackjack table.

So for dinner I made myself a ridiculous amount of food. Then I washed it all down an hour later (when my insulin high started to dip just slighly) with a huge schooner of milkshake

I am now wired.

I feel great.

Oh god when this comes down I am going to cry

Jim Carrey, Will Smith, Will Farrell, Johnny Depp, Adam Lambert, Glee, Rent, trips to the library, Fbng with my ex, seeing my tiny cousins, seeing my cousin Shar (even though it's awkward), seeing my cousin Dav or his brother "Steps" (even though they're creepy), seeing my cousin Shan (even though she thinks I'm a sinner), going to the movies, Space Mountain, Twilight Zone Haunted Hotel (whatever it's called), freeing spiders (I don't like having to kill them), killing mosquitoes (all those parasites must die), nightmares (I can't stand waking from pleasant dreams), the library calling to tell me I have an item to pick up...

There are more things I could list... the most important thing to remember is that none of these things particularly does much for me. It could be my medication, but I'm pretty much always melancholic. I need a job! That's not a general statement. Get off your ass and get someone to hire me. ahhhhh

Why not? That sounds like it would make anyone feel better. Until they're done with the milkshake, of course. Then it's nothing but bloating and regret. And of course you end of being sad again about whatever you were sad about in the first place, because there's nothing to do but sit there and think and feel fat. Other than though it sounds like a great idea.

same here :p I second this :)

Things that also cheer me up: downloading apps for my iPod, watching anime, surfing the internet, going out for a walk, shopping at the mall, and listening to music ;)

I watch asian dramas when I feel blue or frustrated. They help me to pretend that simple, uncomplicated love exists.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug

Peegee

Cocaine IS one hell of a drug. But using drugs to fix a problem is about the most pointless, nonconstructive thing you can do. It's like sticking your head in the ground when a nuke is coming (or more aptly, getting high as a kite so you don't care)
