new to this game and i have no idea on where to even find or make a playonline id. I bought it as a download from amazon.com.

You're probably in the wrong forum. Also, what game did you buy? XI? XIV? The card game? Did you even buy Final Fantasy? What is that by the way?

Do you have PlayOnline installed on your computer? I think that's where you make your ID.

They've changed the billing system since the game was released, you might have to make a square-enix account.

@DP: FF14 doesn't use playonline
