It uses NVG cards. I think they are similar to the Nintendo 3DS cards that you get.

There's definitely no UMD's though.

Anyways, Im glad they are finally taking the right path and forgeting about discs..
Lot of people said that carts will never replace discs but looks like they were wrong (lol)..

It is fairly ironic. I don't know if I'd call SD cards cartridges per se, but the shoe does kinda fit. Although I think in general you can save other stuff on them at will, different from the 3DS thing. But I'll probably be buying most games digitally anyway. That's how my PSP library is and I've had a good experience with that, so I'll continue the tradition.
