Hey there. Like being judgmental? Like taking someone else's labor of love, and verbally shredding it to pieces? Then welcome aboard! Here are all the competing photos from this month's photo contest.

The theme was "dreams", so choose the picture you feel best captures that idea and give it a vote. Then you can turn your wraith upon the rest of the photos. Unleash your keyboard of snarkiness.

As usual, the poll will close in 5 days. Thanks very much to all the players, and good luck!

Okay! We have our winner for this month, and it is our very own Del Murder! Congrats to him, and a big thank you to all our other players. We had a few new faces this month, and I hope they come back next month to try again.

Del, tell us the theme for January!

Number 2 was an early favorite of mine. It's very surreal and I think that helps it to embody the theme a bit more than the other entries do in my mind.

If this was a painting competition I may consider number 2, but this is photography. The picture could have been of anything, slap a paintbrush action on it and you'd get the same effect. It's a cool effect, but I think you all know by now that I prefer capturing actual beauty in real life than creating it on a computer.

I think #2 is definitely badass and a great piece. But, I don't see it as a photo. I think Dreams was a really challenging (in a good way!) theme for the competition this month, because conveying something that is so internal in an external way so that a camera can capture that is difficult and requires some creativity. Conveying dreams in a drawing or painting or manipulation? Way waaay easier.

I'm actually interested in what our resident artists like black orb or Fuzakeru might have come up with in their mediums for this challenge.

This was a tough choice. I ended up voting for #7.

It was "dream by the sea" and then Grover walked in and wrecked up the joint.

#2 looks like it's the clear winner, but this is a photography competition and that image doesn't exactly resemble a photograph taken. It's beautiful, that is for sure. I'll be voting for #7, because it fits the dreams theme, and as an added bonus, it includes the current holiday theme of Christmas.

I like the theme of number 7 very much. It elicits an emotional reaction from me and reminds me of the days when I would dream of Santa visiting (so last week). The potography isn't great, but with a picture like that it doesn't have to be. I could also do without the border.

I wonder who the children are in the picture. Are they the photographer's kids? The sleeping baby is so cute and makes me want to have a baby.

I almost voted for 7, but in the end there's just so much going on that I didn't get a clear vibe from it.

Also, Dreamboat made me think of Falkor the luckdragon's scaly pinkish furriness.

I added a line break after the spoiler tags so that the text doesn't move when you click it because that drives me crazy.

Dreamboat was an easy winner for me. I want to be asleep on that boat right freaking now.

Thank you shlup, that's been bothering me too.

I don't want to be asleep on it, I want to go on awesome Carebear adventures with the Carebear cousins and Falkor.

An empty victory. I only won by voting for my own (simply because I thought it was the best this time, none of the others really did it for me).

I'll pick a theme soon.

I had an idea for this one, albeit crap, but I will probably end up taking a photo of it at some point to share :p

If its any consolation, its the pic I would have voted for had I been around EoFF at the time.

It's been freaking cold around here, so my theme is: Warmth. I want to see some nice warm images. Have at it.

Look at Del-cifer warming up to abstract themes!

Maybe, but any old picture with a fancy border or a coat of paint isn't going to foot the bill here.
