Because this guy really loves his stick bugs. (http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/guy-covered-in-stick-insects)

ITT we talk about insects and other creepy-crawlies.

I would bro with a stickbug. He or she may become my only Skype friend besides Cris.

No one wants to Skype with foa. D:

I am okay with the vast majority of bugs. I don't like anything with more than 8 legs and I hate hate hate cockroaches in any incarnation. Like will get upset if I see them.

I will totally let a spider crawl on me, though. Unless it gets in my hair. Bugs are not allowed in my hair unless they are butterflies and cannot bite me.

PS: Also not allowed on my face or in my ears.

I would like to point out, foa, that while reading your response a fly flew pretty much right into my ear and I freaked out.

It really depends on the bug, for me. I think I might considering being a bro with a stickbug. Spiders are a big NOPE, though. As are moths.

One time I was 6, in the bathroom doing the bathroom thing when this giant moth started flying everywhere and freaking me out.

As I was on the toilet and especially vulnerable to the evil machinations of predatory moths, I started screaming bloody murder for my father.

He was amused. And so was the rest of my family when he told them about it.

EDIT: Regardless of that dastardly moth, I quite like them on the whole.

I used to have pet stick insects! They bred like fucking crazy and I sold loads of the things to people at school. Then we let the rest go in the back garden where they probably all died. They're harmless enough I guess but I don't know if I'd want them on my face like that.

I have held a stick insect 2 times in my life, they look weird. However that guy looks like what would happen if Julian and BoB were to have a baby.

I dislike bugs in general (though can deal with them), but I especially hate spiders and wasps. They are pure evil.

I can abide a wasp being near me and even crawling on me as long as it is not angry or scared.

If it is angry or scared I will attempt to shoo it away. Usually I am successful. If I am not, I leave.

Why do evil insects always show up when you are somewhere where you can't easily escape? (Read: shower)

I don't have much experience with stick bugs. I do like bugs though. I prefer beetles and millipedes though.

Archispirostreptus gigas, the giant African millipede, is one of the largest millipedes, growing up to 38.5 centimetres (15.2 in) in length, 67 millimetres (2.6 in) in circumference, and has 256 legs.

D: Pike, why don't you just go to Africa, get attacked by a giant millipede and never mention this again. Dear Christ, woman.

Sounds cute.

I love bugs. Even some of the nasty-looking ones. I just can't stand roaches or beetles. I held a scorpion once. It was a cold night in Arizona and I guess bugs aren't great at keeping warm, what with their cold-bloodedness. He just sat there for a few minutes in my palm and walked away as if nothing happened. It felt to help him out. But things like this (http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/7601/bigscarybug1byseto2112.jpg) I can't handle. I have some sort of insane beetle and roach phobia. I have a couple pet spiders though.

Stick bugs are alright. I'm not a real big fan of things being all over me but I don't have any problem having a stick bug on me or whatever.

Millipedes are mostly harmless. Besides, I probably wouldn't mind handling a giant millipede.

Now centipedes, those are the ones you should be very wary of and stay the fuck away from... I mean, good god, have you seen how smurfing scary that thing looks?

I'd like to preempt Sylvie here and say, Hello, sailor. rawr

I don't like stick bugs. They're too fragile looking, and too tricksy. I like my insects straightforward and honest.

Proto understands me. Centipedes are unpleasant, but millipedes are charming. I would like to breed the Giant African variety (as Proto posted) and the Emerald variety (below).

I saw a centipede the other day. I ran away like a little girl because it looked at me.

True story.

I don't like where this thread is going, what with all these pictures and such...

All I know is I've seen a video of a giant centipede take down a field mouse. Poor mouse.

They don't scare me, but I'd probably be careful about handling one.

I saw a centipede once. That's how I set the national record for the marathon.

I like them about as much as I like other bugs; not at all. I wouldn't nuke them from orbit though, cause many of the world's eco systems depend on them.
