Final Fantasy's first Forray into the Social Gaming scene has been pretty stellar. 13 days since starting on the Mobage service, the game has 500,000 members. Maybe if it continues to be popular in Japan SE could bring it over to the US. But make sure to change it to iOS & Android or facebook or something more appealing to Western audiences. DeNa mobile and Yahoo are great for Japan, but I see this game failing pretty hard if the model doesn't change for the (potential) western release.

It's old-school turn based combat, so all you Conservative FF fans can really get into it I guess. "In Brigade, players have their own air ship, and team up to form an airs ship brigade. As you clear quests, you earn experience which helps you further upgrade your brigade. The game has monsters, jobs, abilities and other elements from the FF series."

The reviews on Android for this game are pretty terrible. I think I'll pass. SE should stick to making console and handheld games.
