In this thread we talk about chick flicks that we're willing to admit that we like.

I'll start: Kate & Leopold.

I have been known to watch both Titanic and the Baz Lurman version of Romeo and Juliet. Mercutio FTW.

Mean Girls, although I think as a guy you're sorta allowed to like Mean Girls because Tina Fey.

I would regard "Hitch" as a chick flick. Does that count?

I had an awkward moment with a friend when we'd both seen it... but both refused to admit that we liked it.

(Female friend mentions the film 'Hitch')
Me: "Oh yeah, Hitch? it was crap...
Male Friend: "Yeah... bloody chick film...
(when girls were not in earshot)
Me: "That chubby guy was quite good in it though."
Friend: "Yeah, I didn't mind Will Smith in it either."
Me: "Yeah he was pretty funny. Plus, that girl in it was hot."
Friend: "Yeah..."
Me: Smurf it. I thought it was awesome"
Friend: "So did I! I bought it on DVD yesterday!"
Me: "Can I borrow it?"
Friend: "Once I've watched it again, sure!"
Me: "Great, thanks!"
Friend: "We're not telling the girls about this are we?"
Me: "Not in a million smurfing years."

EDIT: I actually enjoyed "Just Like Heaven" as well. Reece Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo were really funny in it. I think that's it though, no others. Also, I wouldn't regard Titanic as a chick flick... too many awesome special effects in it for that.

I enjoyed PS I love you and the Lakehouse and I hate myself for it. I'm drawing a bit of a blank on any others at the moment but there have been more.

The Holiday. I think I like it cause I want a British boy. But the Kate winslet and jack black part is the better part.

Confession: I like pretty much anything with Sandra Bullock in it. Including Practical Magic and Miss Congeniality.

I have to admit I did like The Proposal.

Also any Lifetime movie adaption of a young adult novel I read in middle or high school. No matter how dumb I think the book is now, I will watch the movie.

This. Sandra bullock is pretty awesome. One of the book shelves in the room is reminding me I like 13 going on 30, but I'm not sure it's that I actually like it so much as I've had a crush on Jennifer Garner for years.

Pride & Prejudice is, like, one of my faaaaavorite movies ever. Do Friends with Benefits and No Strings count as chick flicks? I enjoyed them both. Romeo & Juliet is also high on my list; that sound track is one of the few legit CDs I own.

I really like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Because Yutz is foa.

And Steel Magnolias forever.
