Best way to gain AP before final battle with Jecht

I'm currently playing through FFX again for the first time in eight years and I'm at the end of the game and need to do a little battling before I take him on. Where would I best be going to train before the final battle?

Go get yourself triple AP weapons (take the variable steel, add Wings to Discovery for Triple AP, Winning Formula for Triple Overdrive and Door to Tomorrow for Overdrive -> AP). From there, Omega Ruins is a good spot. Also you could go Cactaur hunting in the Sanubia Desert on Bikanel Island.

I'd say you should just wing it and see, he's not that hard.

The only way he's a challenge at all is if you just go fight him straight away.

I typically prefer saving before the point of no return, winging it the first time, and handing him his ass on a platter later on.
