View Full Version : What time do you go to bed?

I go to bed at about 11pm because I'm a wuss.

Also because I frequently have to work early. I'd stretch it out to 1 or 2am during periods of unemployment or jobs where I worked later in the day. And there was a job I worked for a while where I started at 6am so I'd go to bed at 9pm. :G

I usually stay awake for two or three days at a time, with about five hours of sleep in between, unless I pass out from getting drunk. I have no idea why I sleep so little, but it has no detrimental effects on my health that I know of, so I don't see it as a problem. And since my work and school aren't on an exact schedule (they're both online) I don't actually have any set bedtime or anything. I sleep in the middle of the day if I feel like it. I think of it as something akin to karma, after having a shitty childhood.

I have trouble sleeping sometimes, so it varies ALOT, like today I haven't been to bed yet... its 6:18 and I start work at 11, I have been trying to go to sleep since about 3 but to no avail, it sucks, I know I'm going to be dead tired at work tomorrow and there isn't anything I can do about it... except drink large amounts of Monster and/or Relentless.

Maybe like 4AM. There was a while back where I was in a habit of staying up anywhere from 7AM to 10AM. Unemployed with a very large backlog of books and video games. Good times.

I have to turn in at 11:30pm in order for me to wake up at 7am and get to work on time. MY BODY CAN'T TAKE IT http://www.lesavatars.com/Smile/Dragonball-Z/goku.gif otherwise.

On my work days, I usually turn in at about 1:00-1:30-ish. On my days off, anything goes.

I always aim to go to bed at 11ish so I usually manage to stop procrastinating by midnight if not 11:30.

Any from 10 to 11:30pm because I am required to get up at just after 4 or 5am for work. When I don't have work I usually stay up or whatever.

Monday through Friday I go to bed about 11:30pm, unless I get stuck doing something on a game or online, then I'll stay up longer until I'm finished.

Saturday and Sunday, I usually turn in between 1am and 2am.

Friday and Saturday, I go to bed whenever I feel like, usually 3 or 4 AM, because I like to play video games at night.

Since I work at home, I make my own schedule, and I find that I'm more productive at night. I usually go to bed around 3:00 or 4:00.

During the week I go to bed anytime between 10 pm and midnight. On the weekends I go to bed between 8 pm and 4 am depending on what trouble I'm up to.

I'm impressed with you people who only get a few hours of sleep a night and live. I need 7-8 hours a night or I just plain quit functioning. So I go to bed at about 11pm, am usually asleep within 15 or 20 minutes, and then I wake up around 7:00am the next morning. That way I'm ready and raring to go if I have an 8am shift the next morning. If I don't, well... I'm usually "naturally" up by 7:30 anyway, so *shrug*

Sleeping in gives me headaches. I have to be really on top of my sleep schedule.

I usually go to bed about 10:30 and then wake up at 4:30 during the week. On the weekends I usually end up crashing between 1-5am on my living room floor.

It's currently 3:23am and I'm not even feeling tired fully yet. I basically go bed whenever I feel like sleeping. I even sometimes wonder how my body copes with the lack of sleep especially since I work out near daily these days which means I'm guaranteed to be exhausted. Though sometimes I'll get a massive 20 hour sleepathon or something stupid and wake up feeling good to go for another 3 months or so.

This might help some of you guys a bit. It bases your sleep time on the length of the average sleep cycle and such. (http://sleepyti.me/)
