I didn't really care for the movie, but I didn't know until a couple of days ago that they actually made a licensed game for it. I saw it for a couple of bucks in a bargain bin at GameStop so I figured, "Why not?"

It's mainly a dumbed down fighting game, but it's fun for what it is. Here's a screen shot.

Topic: What is the best AND worst licensed movie game that you played? Or maybe something in the middle?

Who are you trying to fool? It's obvious that the screenshot is actually just a photoshopped screen of the movie I mean the life bars are straight from SFIV.

I'm not sure if it counts, but Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands was probably the best I'd ever played. It came out around the movie's release, so I'm going to count it.

The worst would be Van Helsing. I was young, I thought it looked cool. I could not have been more wrong.

All the Harry Potter games sucked hardcore. Boring and unimaginative.

Best? Enter the Matrix.

Oh man, I forgot about Aladdin! I change my answer to that.

Enter the Matrix was awesome for a game based on a movie & to be honest goes a route more movie tie in games should go. Star Wars Episode 1 Jedi Power Battles is one of my favourite games ever. The Spiderman movie tie in games were also pretty good especially Spiderman 3.Die Hard trilogy deserves an honourable mention also.

Worst? I play a game based on the Saw movies it was awful

A Bugs Life for PSX was by far the best licensed game I've played, the worst was by far Eragon.

I completely forgot superman 64, that is a bad one.

Best based off a movie... Hmm.
I've played
Aliens 3
Demolition Man
Lion King
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie
Batman Forever (I think. Had a minotaur in it)

I can't even remember the quality of most of those games it was suh a long time ago. I remember just me and my brother having the hardest time on some level of Lion King and never finishing it and I think Aliens 3 was kind of whack. I do remember hoever that the Power Rangers Movie game kicked ass. I guess I would have to go with that. For worst? I guess maybe Aliens 3.

I haven't played many games of this nature, but I really did love Aladdin.

And all of the LEGO games!

I thought starwars ep 1 podracer for n64 was one of the greatest things of all time until recently when I discovered crashing your podracer actually damages the parts. Now I just think its a very decent racing game.

As for movie games I hate, I tried the fifth element game for ps1 once and couldnt stand it

Though I think the Spiderman for Playstation 1 was the best Spiderman game out there.

Worse:

Shrek's main power was to fart on things which had only a stunting effect. Most of the game is spent running around to collect things.
