I've been playing a lot of League of Legends with a few friends lately. Like with most online games, I mute the game's music and play my own in the background. However, for LoL, I don't have one large playlist that I leave playing for hours at a time. I have several smaller playlists, which I often switch between games depending on who I'm using.

My goal is to create a unique playlist appropriate for each champion. Since there are so many champions in the game and I'm sure my music library is extremely limited compared to others here, I'm open to suggestions. So far most of my playlists focus only on a single aspect of their respective champions, but here are a few of the things I consider:
- Gangplank is a pirate. His playlist consists almost exclusively of Alestorm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJX0GYGn0vU), a pirate-themed metal band. Also, as Twisted Fate is a card shark, his playlist simply consists of an Alan Parsons Project concept album about gambling (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dFFO2z6gXg).
- Veigar is evil. He knows he's evil, and he wants you to know he's evil. You should feel evil while playing him. What's more appropriate than music about being evil? I don't have a lot of evil music, but I have a bit of Voltaire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujzp9ffPwPM) and Metallica (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u-HCHCuHMg) set aside for him.
- Annie and Brand both kill things with fire. Lots of fire. Right now I just use the same playlist for both of them. Of course, most of the songs I have involving fire and burning aren't literally about setting things on fire and burning them, but it is a recurring theme and that's good enough for me. (Well, except this one song by Rammstein based on a short story about a little girl playing with matches, burning down her house, and dying in the fire...) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4c5sTDaA6Q)
- There aren't many champions I can think of for this besides Singed. With Singed you want to run away from people and let them chase you, taking damage from your poison cloud the whole time. This is so different from most other champions' run-in-and-bash-their-faces-in playstyle that it's worth tossing a few songs into his playlist about running away from things (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6jz1hewTzA&ob=av3e).
- Most characters don't make enough music references to make a full playlist, but it never hurts to work in an extra song or two. I'm not really sure where to start with Taric, but his playlist is going to have the Jem theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFvSgZVBATQ) on it.

Oh. And a few minor restrictions before I forget.
- I usually pay more attention to vocals than the instrumentals of a song. I like to be able to understand what's being said. I probably won't use anything with vocals that are distorted, screamed, or growled in a way that would make it difficult to discern the lyrics.
- No fan-made songs about the game. I don't like the idea of using them. That would be too obvious, too easy, they'd lose their novelty within a few games, and it just seems like a tacky way to fill playlist space to me.
- Please do not suggest "Every metal song ever recorded" for Mordekaiser, regardless of how appropriate that may be.
