Stuff you listen to that you either a.) feel guilty about, or b.) probably should feel guilty about, but don't.

I'll start: Lady Gaga.

I don't really feel guilty, but almost none of my friends know I'm a brony that listen to MLP electronica. :p

I don't feel guilt over any of the music I listen to. I listen to gaga and madonna and 90's techno music and i don't give a tit!

Don't worry, I don't feel any guilt either :jess:

I love cheesy 80s synthpop and new wave. BEST MUSIC GENRE.

Motown, Disco and also 80s cheese like Foreigner. Not metal at all =( but I cannot help it, the basslines are lush!

I don't know if they're guilty pleasures as much as music that makes people around me do this. :stare:

Ace of Bass
Captain Jack
Die Antwoord
Boston
Asia
all that 80's hair metal (Whitesnake, Great White, etc.)
Scandal/Patty Smyth
a lot of ska
Robert Miles
Beastie Boys
Atari Teenage Riot

I can't remember them all.

Lenny Kravitz. Maybe not guilty, but face it, he's a good-looking black man playing guitar. How can I resist?

I feel terrible about it. I don't have the song on my iPod or anything, but I like the way it sounds.

LMFAO. If you ever watch their videos though you'd see why. I think they're hilarious. I actually hated them at first (I'm in Miami Trick)....I though it was the dumbest song ever but then I saw the video for Yes and I've been hooked ever since.

Britney Spears. One song every album is too catchy for me to ignore. I can never truly hate her :(

Bewitched. Never wear all-denim outfits! C'est La Vie was quite catchy though.

I really liked The Darkness when they were out. Any band that can bring out a Christmas song and shout the words "Bell end!" at the end are OK by me!

I forgot to mention I have a massive soft spot for The Dubliners and The Pogues, absolutely love Irish Folk stuff.

There's some Katy Perry stuff I like. I know Sharks listed whitesnake, but I'll never be guilty about that. I know all the words and moves from the film clip of Still of the Night, get me drunk and they'll probably come out as well!

Those are the ones, Pike. A pretty poor effort at Riverdance it had to be said.

The scores to the Pirates of the Caribbean films, particularly the third one. The music is mostly inappropriate for the films, surprisingly juvenile, steals quite a bit of themes from previous Zimmer and Badelt scores, and those synthetic cellos still haunt my nightmares. And yet I can't help but enjoy the PotC themes every now and then, particularly that heart-wrenching love theme in the third OST. :)

Wait, what? I need you to elaborate on that one. ;) I thought the film was awesome, the score very appropriate and also had a very complex structure orchestrally and thematically.

Clearly we must get you drunk.

STILL OF THE NIGHT, STILL OF THE NIGHT, STILL OF THE NIIIIIIIIGHT.

I'm a music slut. I listen to almost everything that's out there, and even if I hate an artist I can typically find a song that I like. Best example right now is Katy Perry. I think she sucks, she can't sing, she can't write, she's a complete tool, but (barring Kanye's solo) I think Extra Terrestrial is a kickass song.

Speaking of Kanye, I don't like him either, but Runaway is great.

I don't really like Wiz Kerfluffle and I don't like anything by him. Hmm. He may be an exception.

But the only thing I even feel slightly embarrassed by... okay. Here. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself (http://www.youtube.com/embed/KHfp78kOjkk)

Who the hell doesn't listen to any of this stuff on a regualr basis? That's a third of my iPod right there.

Mine would probably be some Disney stuff, cause being a guy in his late 20s means you shouldn't know all the lyrics to the songs from The Jungle Book and the Little Mermaid. I also have the English soundtracks to Sailor Moon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVSTULWphac) and Cardcaptors (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5unYeFio14M). Other weird songs I love that make my friends and GF go :stare: :

Lisa Stansfield - All Around the World (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDtSyWQsPsU) ~ Makes me think of FFIV, don't ask...
Lady Gaga - Alejandro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niqrrmev4mA&ob=av2e) ~ Gaga has always been hit or miss for me, but I ended up liking the Fame Monster Album after I finally sat down and listened to it. Not to mention I can appreciate awesome parodies like this now (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFd6r9fw0rM). ;)
Cher - Believe (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbXiECmCZ94) ~ I use to karaoke this song at work. My octave range is apparently similar to Cher's. I'm not sure which one of us should be more disturbed by this statement. Maybe I was a drag queen in a previous life?
O-Zone - Despre Tine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONIauy9xoDo) ~ Yes, I also have their infamous Dragostea Din Tei (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRx5PrAlUdY) song, and I love it as well. I even did a cosplay skit to it with a friend at my anime convention. :D
Paula Abdul - Opposite's Attract (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweiQukBM_k&ob=av2e) ~ I love this video :)
Perry Como - Papa Loves Mambo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFLEnyrhO3A)

Not to mention Maria Carey, Journey, Jimmy Eat World, Jewel, Hootie and the Blowfish, and various others. Not to mention my iPod has the type of list where you'll be listening to some awesome video game track and then jump to one of the above songs I mentioned, only to jump into something like Bach or Mozart. My friends and co-workers tell me that my iPod is the embodiment of
guilty pleasure music. Like some dark labyrinth of cheesy oldies, showtunes, bad 80s music, and children TV show OSTs, as well bubblegum pop. Yes people, my iPod is where guilty pleasure music goes when it dies. :zombert:

YES, I approve. I love anything O-Zone ever did.
