I find it very difficult to grow a moustache. It seems I have a very low facial hair count. My question is this... are moustaches cool?

If you cover up Paul Simon's face on the above photo you will see how cool Art Garfunkel looks with a huge, Eastern-European moustache...

Pic made me lol.

Also, I have tried growing a mustache a couple of years ago and most people felt it looked unnatural. My problem with it is that it looked way to bland.

I am a lady, and therefore do not want a moustache.

But, I wish you well in your endevours.

I fully understand, I can't name many famous moustchioed ladies. However, the question still stands.

Are moustaches cool?

Yes, moustaches are cool. There are exceptions to this rule, but generally it applies. As long as you don't a pubey poncetache, you should be fine.

Moustaches are cool in a "Woah, look at that tache!" sort of way. But they have zero sex appeal.

I generally stick with two-day stubble but Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds just make it look more cool than is humanly possible.

Go with a Burt Reynolds 'stache. Do it.

It depends on the face. My dad has had a mustache since forever (because I imagine he was alive for forever before I came about.) On the one occasion I remember him shaving it off... well it was just bizarre. It was like someone else's face.

That being said I think most men look best with a mustache/beard combo. A rare man it is that looks good with just a mustache.

btw, were I a male or a sideshow hustling female, I would have the longest beard through sheer will of growth.

A recent photo with my sister... who has the most impressive facial fuzz?

Lol, that reminds me of my friend who has black hair, but his facial hair grows in red. It's so weird.

I think her style and pose wins out in this picture...

I can only grow a Pedro moustache If I try, so on me they are most certainly not cool. But as was previously alluded to, Burt Reynolds is proof of how mighty a moustache, or any kind of hair really, can be.

Except Pedro didn't have to try. It only took him a couple of days.

Rub it in, why don't you?

How dare you.

Paul Chuckle is my Godfather. He admitted to me that he used a clip-on for the last series.

I beg to differ

I actually have that to a degree. I get quite a few red hairs in the chin area of my beard with bits on my head. My brother has it more on his head with a little in his beard.

Your friend wouldn't happen to be my brother, would he?

Moustaches are great for that Eurotrash look (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8FR5jk_2CA). Which I am obviously going for as soon as I grow my hair out.

a moustache is a fine and tricky creature, however one that can be tamed into a fine addition to your life, if nurtured correctly and all appropriate measures are taken. you have to get into the right mind frame first; you have to become one with your facial hair, in order to spawn this rare and often misunderstood creature. it's habits and lifestyle often vary from one to the other - this can often give people the false assumption that it is a very unreliable and inconsistent creature, which obviously is WRONG. twisted, sick and wrong. you get me? measures have to be taken. you can't simply wing this. you are gambling a lot, the stakes are high but if you do this right you could come out on top!

A tash is no where near as godly as a beard:

That's actually Chuck Norris' moustache. He doesn't fuck around when it comes to growing facial hair.

I have the ability to grow an amazing moustache when ever I let it out of it's box.

I had completely forgotten about that video. Why must you remind me? ;__;

Unless you're a dad, cop, or Chilean tight rope walker, you shouldn't have a stache imo.

I keep a beard, but lately, I've been letting the edges of my moustache grow out and have started twisting them into funny little curls with some wax. It's a very different look and I get differing responses. Many tell me how awesome it is. Some literally point and laugh at my face.

If you had to ask me, I would say that a mustache looks good on no one under the age of 45.

I'm not old enough or manly enough to grow a good moustache, so I manage a creeper moustache, at best.

I have to shave like every six to eight days or I get a complete neckbeard and a weird moustache that's thick everywhere except for the middle of the left side :(
