Are the console versions hard to find nowadays?

I'm thinking of coming back and I'd prefer to play on 360 if playing in HD does anything to improve the graphical quality. On PC I can't stay logged in for very long. It works fine for me on PS2. I've looked on ebay for used copies and I'm seeing $100 auctions.
