Just thought we might try this again. For those of us with short memories or who are new, every two weeks we watch a new movie and discuss it.

Would anybody be willing to do this? You wouldn't have to watch every movie, just the ones you want?

Also, what movie (It has to be available on Netflix Streaming) would you like to watch first?

Freya

I could be up for this. I'm always on my netflix watching something.

HC, in Canada, NETFLIX BLOWS. Actually most things suck when compared to the states.

Nothing I can do about that.

I don't have Netflix, but I'd be up for renting/downloading whatever movie. Sounds fun.

Unfortunately I do know this, I just wanted to state that.

Netflix doesn't exist in Australia. While I am currently in the US, I find it pointless to pay for a service I would not be able to use after a short time :(

Hollycat
04-08-2012, 10:55 PM
So you can't type in Netflix.com while in Australia?
That is kind of sad actually.

Tell you what, if you want to participate, I'll find some links or downloads for you, just don't tell anyone ok?

I think I've seen everything on Netflix that doesn't suck. I'll give it a shot though.

Let's watch a chick flick :3

Hollycat

Ok, we don't have many people yet, but I'd like to start sometime next week, does anybody have something they want everyone to watch?

Freya

Those are all terrible movie choices, Freya.

Jiro
04-10-2012, 03:30 AM
Terminator is not a terrible choice :aimmad:

Laddy
04-10-2012, 03:35 AM
I'm in. I suggest we watch something classic and emotionally-charged. I wanna cry with my fellow EoFFers.

Or a comedy. A funny one.

Freya
04-10-2012, 03:39 AM
You are dead to me sam. DEAD.

Hollycat
04-10-2012, 03:39 AM
We are NOT watching Demolition man.

I've never seen the first Terminator, that might be a good choice, but keep looking.

Freya
04-10-2012, 03:47 AM
Demolition man is so campy and fun though! :D

Laddy
04-10-2012, 03:49 AM
We don't have a handicap for the cinematically challenged. There is no excuse to have not seen Terminator. :colbert:

I agree. Demolitionman is a classic movie! It is fun, campy and action packed!

Now I will throw out some movies that are the bottom of the barrel but some alcohol and friends can probably make them fun.

2-Headed Shark Attack - Need I say more? It is a shark...with two heads!

Hercules - This stars Lou Ferrigno. The netflix description states "Updated for the space age, this version of the classic Greek myth" Sign me up. The Hulk smashing people in space or something? Awesome!

Hardwired - It stars Val Kilmer AND Cuba Gooding Jr. at the bottom of their games! With both trying to recapture some of what made them good look out for an over acting masterpiece =D

That is kind of sad actually.

It won't stream anything to an Australian IP.

You're the worst poster.

That isn't a very nice thing to say.
How was I supposed to know, I don't live in Australia.

Keep pouring on the ideas, I'll put em in my fedora and draw one out!

Watch The good, the bad and the ugly. Or watch Gran Turino. Or Happy Gilmour. Or Grown ups. Or Final Cut. Or A Clockwork Orange.
Yo Roto13, he's young... in mentality. Give him a break.

There are loads of localization issues with things such as netflix. It's something to do with the rights and blah blah. The states really is the only one with an awesome netflixness.

How about Dante's Peak! (http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Dante_s_Peak/1151375?trkid=2361637) VOLCANOES! How can that not be an exciting one to watch?

Someone should care. "HURR HURR HURR U CANT TYPE NETFLIX THATS SAD 4 U!" Yes, because clearly the reason Jiro doesn't have Netflix is because he's too stupid to use the internet. If it were me, I'd punch him in the throat.

Jiro

Because you are bad at internet, what does that even mean? Apparently the word internet applies to the spelling of Netflix.

YOU ARE BAD AT ENGLISH.

I'm only bad at internet because I just recently got late 90s quality internet. Over here I feel like Jesus.

While Demolition Man is an excellent choice, and I'd be in like flint if that was chosen, I'm going to throw out the idea that everyone wanted in the original thread:

Kindergarten Cop.

I enjoy that movie. That would not be a bad choice. If I might say. has anyone heard of Cop and a half with Bert Reynolds?

Kindergarden Cop will be the movie if it is on Netflix and no on has a better idea.

Call me with that argument when it's relevant, and there's actually something to watch on Netflix.

I mean, aside of the Backyardians and ten year old Law and Order SVU episodes and bad documentaries. And Naruto.

Oh, and when they fix that annoying mid-film quality switching problem.

Jinx

My friends and I used to go on Netflix and watch just like the WORST movies ever.

Cos that's all they have.

The worst movies ever.

You clearly haven't used Netflix in a very long time, if ever.

Also content streaming directly to my tv (well, to my PS3 or Wii) instantly is totally relevant.
