So I've just completed this game for the first time. For me, this is quite a monumental event. As much as I love them... I'm not the most naturally gifted RPG player. I've been playing the iPhone version when I've been on the go since New Year.

I had a team of Fighter, Thief, White Mage and Black Mage. They were all at level 51 and I still struggled with the final boss! Oh well... that brings my total number of FF games completed up to... three. I need to crack on and finish FFVI now.

I did really enjoy the game though. It's one you can easily play on the go as there isn't much of a story line... it was perfect for the iPhone.

This has probably been asked before but does anyone here remember what team and level you were at when you first completed the game?

I've only played one of the newer versions once with the awesome team of Fi/Fi/RM/WM. I don't remember what level I was, just thinking that it was obscenely high as I am used to the older versions where the max level was 50 and you finished the game in your mid 30s.

Thief, Warrior, White, Red all around lvl 40. I played the PSX Origins version in original difficulty . I restarted the final fight around 5 times. Luckily the game had Memo saves.

Warrior, Black Mage, Red Mage, White Mage. I named them Chuck, Hats, Dice, and Rarity respectively.

I think I was level 55ish? I can't rightly remember now! Oh, and it was the GBA version.

Warrior/Red Mage/White Mage/Black Mage.
All at Lv.99 Before I defeated Chaos in DoS.

It's all because I completed my bestiary. That grinded me levels.

I made the mistake of playing the Gameboy Advance version and my characters were very strong compared to what you were supposed to be at that point in the game. At one point, I had run into Death Machine and I was able to destroy it in a few turns without realizing that it was the fabled WARMECH.
