Today Huxley and I were walking around downtown Bozeman and we got thirsty so we headed inside this little indie candy/ice cream float shop and asked for some Dr. Pepper. They made it basically from scratch, squirting the syrup inside the cup, adding water and ice, and stirring it up. It was amazing. Also it is now Hux's favorite thing in the world.

Have you ever had anything like this and was it tasty? Also are there any nifty little shops where you are? :jess:

You know you can buy a soda streamer for like 60$?

When I was in the Cub Scouts and my Junior year of High School, we made our own Root Beer. Totally forgot how to do so, and can't look it up since I have to start work....now.

Sounds like an Italian soda, they just used Dr. Pepper flavored syrup.

Soda from scratch is awesome... but beer from scratch is much more fun.

Me and my foster parents used to go to this Mexican restaurant in some ghetto part of Lynwood, CA, and they made their own Cherry Coke from seltzer water, syrup, and real cherries.

It was to die for.

I love soda, but all of my attempts at making it myself, have failed miserably.

Sutton's in Chapel Hill was my favorite lunch joint, and they made scratch vanilla cokes.

And I loved them.
