Let's talk about bands (or artists or whatever) that just keep going and going and going with great stuff. Alternatively, bands that are still great when you discover and/or rediscover their older stuff.

I'll start: They Might be Giants. Because Istanbul not Constantinople.

A few I can think of off the top of my head (including solo artists):

Radiohead
Super Furry Animals
Low
Yo La Tengo
Modest Mouse
PJ Harvey

EDIT: Seriously though I'd probably go for Muse. Matt Bellamy is awesome.

For me, it's just about anything Trent Reznor is attached to. The guy finally stopped taking 5 to 6 year breaks and has been putting out good stuff since then (around 2005) with more to come!

For me it's Arcade Fire and Muse. Oh, and Tori Amos. She's like a fine wine. She only gets better with time.

Karnivool and Carina Round. Unfortunately, everyone else has at least one disappointing album.

Let me see... Kings Of Leon, Two Door Cinema Club, Common, & Bruce Springsteen. TDCC are fairly new onto the scene but I have yet to hear a song from them I dislike.

Not counting those with less than three albums... Antony and the Johnsons, The Shins, Joanna Newsom, PJ Harvey, Björk, Cold War Kids, Fiona Apple, and Explosions in the Sky are the ones I can think of.

The only bands that continuously amaze me are Between the Buried and Me and Mastodon.

Saxon and Blind Guardian for me, only seen Saxon live to perform their stuff but their last 2-3 albums were bang on and the material is killer live.
I've just loved all of BGs stuff since I got into em but their last album was amazing.

Radiohead is truly an example of a band that will never, ever disappoint me.

TV On The Radio is a band that I feel is constantly edging ever closer to absolute perfection.

It's been said, but RADIOHEAD. Also, the Cranberries would be on my list too, as well as Incubus.

A few that haven't been mentioned,

Jose Gonzalez
Iron & Wine
Mos Def
Fleet Foxes
Nico Vega
Jack Johnson
Tool
Modest Mouse
Queens of the Stone Age
Tenacious D

Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Muse and Green Day never fail to disappoint. If we can say solo artists too then I'd like to add Eminem (yeah, his older stuff is better but his new stuff is still good).

Combichrist always does it for me. No matter how many side projects those guys have, they will always be united in a sort of "master-of-all-trades" when factoring into Industrial. Lacuna Coil's releases always seem to step the clamorous bliss level. I can deal with that :)
