So, did anyone actually buy this? It looks interesting, but in order to unlock the full game you would need to pay a huge amount of money.

My friend's younger brother has this game and like 12+ of the figures required to play it. I think it's stupid to require them to buy all that crap just for the full game.

Eh, when we get an emulator that can handle it and hack in all the figures, I'll give it a try.

I thought Pokemon had transparent money grabbing features.

These things sell like hotcakes; they're in constant huge demand where I work. I think it must be this generation's version of Pokemon cards or something.
