Final Fantasy VIII Quote Quiz

(Searched the first three pages, I apologize if there is already a thread on this)

As part of a semi-revival of the Final Fantasy VIII section (I'm on the phone with Future Esthar as I'm typing this), I thought it would be cool to bring back the 'quote quiz'. Super fun, super simple, super sexy.

You know the rules. I'll start with a quote, and everyone takes wild guesses, until someone gets it right. Critical thinking and deductive logic probably won't help, so just trust your gut.

Once someone answers it correctly, they will be notified (hopefully somewhat quickly) of it by the poster of the quote, and they can dig up a quote of their own. As a rule, if someone who gets a quote right doesn't post their own quote for 2 days (might extend that to three), then anyone can put a quote of their choosing up in place.

Now, enough of that unnecessarily long introduction. I'll start off with a toughie:

I've probably played VIII more than any other game, so I know it pretty well, haha. Anyways, here is my quote:

Yeah, I think you're right Karifean. Zell accidentally adopts that mannerism when the party run into Raijin and Fujin in the Balamb Hotel.

Zell's brother or whoever he is, when you enter Zell's house during some point in the game, he will say that line. I am pretty sure of it.

I know you know the character I'm thinking of, despite him not being Zell's brother :exdee: It's Big Bad Rascal, a Balamb kid who wants to be just like Zell. He says that line during the Galbadian occupation of Balamb when helping Zell and co. escape from the town.

trivia: his move is called Super Miracle Kick, with frequent abuse of ALL CAPS and LOOOONG VOOOOOWELS and !!!!!~~~~!!!!

Was it Squall? I think that's what he says or thinks at Galbadia Garden after they hear that Seifer was executed. He goes on to complain about being talked about in past tense and how he will never die etc etc.

Not my own guess but yes, I'm virtually positive it's that. Main reason I remember is that out of context, that whole scene is just hilarious. Squall's internal exposition leading up to him screaming out at everyone, while all of them had no idea that he even felt anything about it. Pretty brilliant actually. :)

As far as everyone else is aware, Squall is merely doing his internal "..." and "Whatever" so when he absolutely flips his lid like that, it must have been one of the most shocking and hilarious things they've ever seen. Nobody really wonders about his mental condition though. It's just on with the next mission despite the fact that their de facto leader is clearly suffering from some deep seated emotional trauma.

If I happen to be right, then - in the interest of more fun, quicker - I yield my turn to whoever is quickest to post one :)
